Each floor has a different-themed decor as you climb the ornate polished brass-rail staircase (or yes take the elevator), so it's worth exploring all floors for what amounts to a museum visit. Rooms will remind of a bygone era of decadence, and you're steps from the shore across the street. Our visit was for a weekend congress, and it certainly set the standard for any return trips to Nice.

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a junior suite and oh-my-gosh the view is to die for. Chilled creamy soup(?): The flavors were really on-point, super creamy and the chips ontop and shaved truffle gave it great texture and aroma 4. Seabass: The skin on this eas perfectly crispy and the quinoa bits were crispy and the pickled onions were sweet and tangy 5: Diorama dessert: I was most looking forward to this but was disappointed by how simple it turned out to be. It was creamy and delicious, but I felt that the pastry chef's other creations were more interesting/unique, but what sold me was they made it specially for Dior Definitely recommend paying a visit if you visit the south of France!

Couldn't figure out the AC, but got the heat to turn on? Also, TV wouldn't turn on strangely enough. My room has a mini fridge and a nice balcony that has a small view of the ocean and town. For less than $100 USD a night it's a pretty darn good deal for this area. Also, it is just one block from the Promenade where you gain a clear ocean view. Walking distance to everything! Located in a great spot. I would highly recommend coming here.

Very few power sources for travellers to charge their devises and despite the fact that the bath does bubbles like jacuzzi when you want to take a normal shower there is no way of preventing all of the floor from getting flooded. I looked around the room for a phone to call reception for advice - no phone in the room!!!. Went all the way down to reception to find a rude lady. When I asked for a different room she got angry at me! She said that she don't see any problem and that all the rooms are like that! I explained very politely that we are a young couple and still wants to keep some things privet (like taking a dump for example!) and that I payed good money for the room. Then she accused that I am not paying a lot of money at all because I booked through lastminute.com! I am a student and worked very hard to save money and take my girlfriend to provence for her birthday and I take the money I have very seriously! I got really offended! I asked to speak with the manager then she said that it is late and he is home. OK. Next morning I went downstairs again and asked for the manager. She said that he is busy. I went looking for him on the 4th floor after she refused calling him. He said that he can not do anything and that all the rooms are like that. That it is very normal is France to share the toilet business. He refused to understand our need of privacy and to come it to any sensible solution. Never offered an apology and said that if we don't like it we can take our stuff and leave and he will find a different room for us (not in the same level of course) and REFUSED TO GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK! We had to stay because we were obviously on a tight budget and cannot afford to pay for another room. When I was on the phone with lastminute.com he came to our room and started yelling at my girlfriend and at myself that we called and said the the hotel is dirty! we didn't! To finish our 'nice' say up, when we checked out he ran up stairs to see if we didn't steal or break anything! Do yourself a favour and stay away! Obviously those people are missing some essentials!

The breakfast area was cramped as well and the buffet not appetizing: the eggs looked and tasted industrial and the sausage fatty and burned. They served everyday a pasta salad !( really at 8 am?) -The coffee served from a machine was not very tasty. -Finally it was rainy and the hotels had umbrellas for 10 euros! Despite its central location which was a plus , I will not stay there again!
