All of those places are great, but this one is still worth considering because: A) It's next to the Pieterskerk, aka in an area with relatively few other cafes (ok you could walk 3 minutes down the road to the busy area but one gets lazy when living in such a small town) B) It's still relatively unknown and has an unpronounceable name, so you're very likely to get a table C) They make great coffee, and I've heard they have insanely good sandwiches. Perhaps a turn-off for some people, I think it's kind of cool - counterbalances the quaintness. Worth a look anyway!

He said they were out of kid menus in English but translated the menu immediately so we could get the kids food ordered first thing. Highly recommend this street cafe if you're in Leiden.
