In fact, we drove from Amsterdam specifically to dine at this restaurant, which was recommended by a friend.

Sadly, there is nothing close to this in Seattle, WA. When we visited Bali, I wasn't too impressed…read morewith the food either. It was either way too sweet or too spicy for me. However, when we tried this place, I was super surprised! Red Jedjeki was packed on a Wednesday evening. We didn't have reservations, but we were fortunate the sweet lady found a place for us to sit. I must say, this is hands down the best Indonesian food in the world! We ordered the menu for 2 people. A mixture of different dishes. Their side nasi goreng is ok, but everything else we had was so heavenly. I especially enjoyed their beef stew, sprouts with peanut sauce, picked cucumbers and carrots, green beans and boiled egg with a red sauce on top. Now, if you can tell me where else they have Indonesian food like Redjeki's, then please do share and I'll take a trip out there! Thank you guys for an awesome experience. We did have left overs and had it for lunch today. Well done to the lady and gentlemen who worked at Redjeki last night. We had a wonderful experience! It's worth the 5 stars. This is the place to visit if you want to try some Indonesian food in the Netherlands! Plus, Delft is such a cute town!

I don't have Indonesian food where I live, so was excited to try this in Amsterdam. I thought the dishes were all flavorful and gave a good mix of meat, vegetable, and rice dishes. The individual servings were small, but filling enough because of the heavy coconut milk used in most dishes. 1 star off: The attitude of the waitstaff was abysmal. First of all, their website does not offer reservations and they rarely answer their phones. So my family and I arrived at restaurant opening to get a table. The first thing they said to us was "Do you have a reservation? If you don't, I can only give you a table if you get out by 6:30PM." in a stern way. We said okay. The group that came after me also raised the issue that no one at the restaurant answers their phone for reservations. The waitstaff did not respond to that, but begrudging seated them. 1 star off: While we were ordering food, the waitstaff noticed that my son had a water bottle with him, and proceeded to give him a lecture that water bottles are not allowed and that we have to order water from them. He is a teenager...he does not know he was supposed to conceal his water bottle at this restaurant. We all ordered drinks, including water, but the experience left my family feeling unwelcomed.

We had a great meal and very friendly considerate service. Great option for someone dairy free, I…read morewas able to eat everything.

This place absolutely saved my palate after weeks of deep-fried seafood (with mayo), fries (with mayo/peanut sauce and onion), and many hash joints. I still remember I got the nasi goreng and chicken sate, and they were absolutely godsends, especially after a long time of having the flavour I was not the biggest fan of (mayo). I remember I brought a kiwi with me for this meal, and the flavour also blew her mind as she hadn't had anything like this in her own adventure in the Netherlands. Great and relaxing vibe too I'll for sure visit the Netherland again and come to warung mini.

I was staying at the awesome City Hub down the block and decided to check this restaurant out. I went by fellow Yelper Michelle S's recommendation of the Gado Gado and Chicken with noodles. One would think, prices would be high like that of Amsterdam. The portions were big and good value. A lot of locals as well as tourists were here in this Witte de With establishment. I was pretty full after the meal. It was a pretty nice stroll down Witte de Withstraat back to City Hub.

So on a relaxing Saturday night going for some good food. It…read morehad been a while we went here. And actually we should have gone way before today, as the food was great :-) For example for starters, we took amongst other satays. In the Netherlands, a satay is normally some meat which is drown under peanut sauce. Not at all here, those were simply very nice skewers with a gentle touch of different meats and sauces. The steam cooked crab and fish cooked in a banana leave was simply excellent. Then for main some chicken, simple and delicious, and lam, with so many fantastic spices. So this place offers very refined Indonesian food, without the usual heavy food of other "traditional" Indonesian restaurant in the Netherlands. For the service, it's good and efficient, nothing special to say about that one.

Everything looked amazing, so she helped us narrow down the options. We had a sampling of starters that featured a fish cake, pickled vegetables, pork sate, spring roll and banana leaf wrapped rice roll. We also had a sampling of the satay, that included pork, chicken, lamb and beef. Best satay I've ever had - flavors are perfect and spice amount is just right. For entrees, we had the banana leaf wrapped fish and the lamb dish. Each dish was prepared to perfection with just enough spice to bring out the flavors of the fish and lamb. Service was outstanding! If you are in the mood for the best meal you've had all year, come here.
