Then walk over to the touch screen machine and press the number of the washer or dryer you want to use and press "CONFIRM" The touch screen will say "Press start on the washer" but this is a lie. The washer or dryer will start on it's own. The only down side is the price. 8CHF for one load of laundry in the smaller 8KG Machine. 10CHF if you're paying cash. But then again this is Switzerland. The taxi ride here from the hotel alone cost 18CHF for a mere 2 Kilometers?!? But for those traveling like myself I suppose it is still way cheaper than doing your laundry at your hotel. Nice clean place. Has vending machines with snacks and drinks. Open til '10pm every night according to the sign on the door. No attendant on duty. BRING PLENTY OF SMALL COINS. The machine does not take 5CHF coins. It does however take notes and credit cards. WARNING: If using notes, the maximum amount of change the machine will give back to you is 16CHF. I would not use any note larger than a 10CHF or maybe a 20CHF note. If you have kids hopefully like my own mom you won't make them sit at the laundry completely bored while you wash clothes. Ha. But just in case you need to bring your kids here, you are in luck! There is a cool little kids table and chairs and two baskets full of toys for the niños. Enjoy.
