Everything we tried was delicious, and appealed to me more than the super-touristy spots further down the road (though obviously most of the clientele here are also tourists). Prices seemed reasonable for the amount/quantity of food. Most importantly, Il Parata sells toilet paper, which proved hard to come by in Vernazza. Be sure to arrive before 5pm if you want food (outside of cannolis, which were available later).

The walls are full of reproduction items and ads from the era. The food was ok in preparation and plating, but it's overpriced for what you get. There was a woman on roller skates, and apparently, that was her only job, she wasn't taking orders or delivering food. Just skating. They have some arcade and pinball machines on the lower level. This visit was early April 2022, and they insisted on seeing vax proof before allowing you in. One could have a lot of trips to McDonald's for what you'll spend here. Also, they should add "American breakfast" to the menu, and open earlier than 7PM.
