This is absolutely the most amazing melt in your mouth burger I've had in my entire life. The aji verde is my go to & they've recently expanded their menu to include smash burgers. Not for me (the smash burger thing) however I had it once and it was still fire. My go - to would be the double aji verde but if your american careful it is a biggggg burger lol read more

Tried a standard bacon cheeseburger here. It was very salty and nothing special. Patty seemed like it was from frozen. Fries were cooked crispy but were also from frozen. Lots of foreign customers here, some of the more intricate burgers might be a better bet. read more

From what I can tell, a bunch of kids run this place, and there is no attention to detail whatsoever. The burgers are mediocre at best. We ordered two classic cooked medium well. It sounds strange to fly all the way to South America and your first dinner is at a burger bar (Americans love what they love, ha). However, La Burguesìa makes better hamburgers than most American cities! Oooooomg. The atmosphere is young and welcoming. I was fully immersed in the modern culture of Chile. Late dinner, sociable people, and relaxing...on a Wednesday night. Why can't we have this lifestyle back at home? Oh yea...work in the early A.M. I was pretty envious of this but, we are on vacation and I can enjoy it now. As for the food, it was AMAZING. Giant portions of crispy fries, large and juicy hamburgers that you can't even fit inside your mouth no matter how much you unhinge your jaw like a snake. Hands down, one of the best burgers ever. However, the service was sloooooow. I don't know if this is a culture thing and as Americans, we are more rushed to get things done. Sit down, eat, check, leave. People were here for hours socializing and enjoying the night. So I do think it is a cultural thing and I don't want to hit this place with low stars because of my American upbringing. The food was GREAT and the staff were in fact friendly and so nice. And yes, we did tip our waitress and she first said no and then was grateful. We got a few stares over the tipping situation. So maybe this was our first culture shock between the more relaxed country of Chile vs. the high strung Untied States. So please don't think this place is truly 4 stars. The food is hands down a solid 5. We're just not used to waiting an hour to get a box and a check after we're done eating. read more

We were exhausted from our days activities and this place is right next to our hotel. We weren't expecting much, but how bad can a burger be? Wow! One of the best burgers ever! FYI for non Chileans: the default condiment is mayo, and they are a little heavy handed with it so if you're not a fan, ask for it on the side. Also it helps to speak some Spanish as our waiters didn't speak much English. I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for burgers and a great party atmosphere. read more

Considering how much I'm on the road for work, I have a lot of opportunities to find really good restaurants like this one. Another recommendation from my Chilean coworkers, I had seen this restaurant on Yelp but didn't know what to make of it - I've tried to visit to the hip burger spot in a few foreign countries and I've usually come up with something that was good but not great. Burguesia was a pleasant surprise and is serving up some of the most unique, flavorful, burgers I've ever had!!! I had had a busy day at our office so didn't arrive until around 9 - somewhat standard dinner time for the Chilean folks so it was really busy. They had seating in tents and tables outside also - all tables had candles which made for a nice ambience. When I arrived, they were blasting some an RHCP playlist which I really really loved. Coincidence being in chile? Don't worry, I know they're spelled different ;-) Service was very friendly and after much deliberation, I ordered the grillada. Oh man, it was so so good. The bacon, caramelized onion, cheddar and blue cheese sauces were a combo I won't soon forget. I opted to take the bbq sauce on the side which was actually a great idea as I could dip my fries in it then sop up some of the extra blue cheese sauce that escaped the burger. This blue cheese sauce by the way was pungent but so so perfect! If you're visiting Chile also, heads up that everyone eats these burgers with a fork and knife - don't be a gringo and follow suit! I talked to one of the owners (in spanish) and told him this was the best burger I've had outside the US which he was really excited about. He countered that he thinks it will be the best burger in the world before too long - it's this kind of ambition that makes burguesia seriously phenomenal!!! read more

Umm....I couldn't take a picture on time because, well, the burger is gone! Wow! So far I've tried the avocado burger and the Shrimp burger with cream cheese and tomate confitado. Both were a delicacy. Delivery comes packed nicely. Fries aren't as good as streat burger to me but they're definitely classic. read more
