La Buvette was recommended by the AirB&B for breakfast and provided a 10% off coupon. So we tried it before heading out to the Italian Open tennis tournament. We both ordered the American breakfast which came with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast (which we didn't get), orange juice, and your choice of coffee or tea. The food was good. The service was also good. The ambience is nice. However, we didn't get the discount as we presented the coupon when we were seated. We went for breakfast another time. We ordered the American and English breakfast. The English breakfast had fried eggs, bacon, sausage, and beans. This time we got the toast. When we got our bill, there was a charge of 10 euros that I wasn't sure what the charge is for. I didn't ask. Probably should have. Didn't want to come across as an arrogant American. read more

Cute cafe in Rome just a short walk from the Spanish Steps. We had a "breakfast" here. Fantastic coffee. I had the double espresso and my wife enjoyed a latte macchietto. Charming and delightfully decored spot right in the heart of the primo shopping district. Take a break from high end fashion shopping and step in here for a beautiful pastry or a sit down breakfast lunch or dinner. I came for breakfast. The staff are fairly attentive and well dressed in matching uniforms. The lighting and music give just the right feel. I had orange juice that was beautiful and delicious and the eggs Benedict with hollandaise. It was cooked perfectly and hollandaise was light and sophisticated. I may have wished for slightly higher quality ham as opposed to what was like deli ham but this was not enough to take a star. The rest over compensated. Ah yes, and he night before, when I discovered the place looking for s late night grappa, I learned they also have a respectable grappa list (4 white and 4 brown). Go if in the area!! read more

We ate here on vacation to Rome from the US. It was recommended by our hotel. It was spectacular. We split a chicken Caesar salad and then we each had Lasagna Bolognese. It is a nice place with excellent food and service. I would definitely come again. read more

This was a lovely little spot to grab a drink after walking all over Rome and just needing a break. I loved watching Italians pop in for an espresso or a quick sweet treat at the counter and the general hustle and bustle of the staff as they picked up drinks at the bar and delivered them to guests in the restaurant. We did not order any food but they graciously delivered a little plate of snacks along with our drinks and my husband was very happy about that. read more

This was the best thing I've had in Rome so far! Crema cafe was to die for. A big lump of creamy coffee goodness served with a small sliver of cold creamy ice cream. My hubby had the cafe marrocino which was a a warm coffee with chocolate. Molto bene!!! read more

I had some doubts coming to this place as there were very little reviews, but let me tell you it was a worthwhile risk to take. Upon arriving we were greeted by a friendly waitress, she spoke English perfectly fine and seated us right away with smiles! My wife and I ordered friend eggs, an omelette, and a cheese plate. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly, the selection of cheeses were also very good. We finished our lunch with a excellent dessert that was tasty (see pictures). I would recommend this place to a friend or family member easily. I would give this place 4.5 stars but I can't choose that, the reason I took one star away was because the prices are a bit steep, but you do get excellent service and the location is great, the staff is excellent too.
