They are pretty clued into the local art scene and have regular receptions and even some live music on special occassions, I *think*. The owner is just the kind of wine nerd you want to consult with. He's very softspoken and sweet, and knows each wine like it's his beloved child. Only catch is, their liquor license doesn't allow them to sell wine without food, so you're "forced" to eat. The starters were good I had a Toscana and he had a goats cheese salad - goats cheese here is amazing and locally sourced. I then had my savoury pancake (after assuring my boyfriend that no of course everything didn't come in pancakes! It doesn't - I was just unlucky!). He got steak and chips, after we had desserts we definitely didn't need of pistachio ice cream and chocolate sauce, and he had a strawberry crêpe! If you are lucky enough to have one of the tables on the terrace, you will have a fabulous view of the sun setting over the valley beyond.
