If you are the House of Waffles maybe your waffle should not be cold and crunchy when served....unlike your hashbrowns which were just mushy (when I asked for another portion, but cooked, I got them eventually and they helpfully charged me twice). Service was attentive, place is spotless, jazz music playing...really an upscale Denny's that needs to try it's own food once in awhile to see what is hitting customers plates. Prices would have been fine if my breakfast had been edible. p.s. I too had a coffee cup with crack all the way through it....didn't leak but it makes one nervous too early in the morning. p.p.s. They close at 2 PM. While there is limited parking, it is worth coming to even if you have to walk a ways. They have a great selection of all the traditional Mexican and American style breakfast and brunch foods. There is something for everybody from decadent waffles, crêpes and hotcakes, to healthier choices like eggs however you want them, omelettes, chilaquiles, fruit, breads, juices, etc. There are some vegetarian and even vegan options. The atmosphere was very nice. You can choose to dine outside or inside. It can get a little loud as this place is quite popular. Our server was very attentive and friendly. My food was delicious, and everyone else at my table seemed very happy and satisfied. They have American style coffee, a medium roast, and they offered to bring liquid cream to the table. (Otherwise they have powdered coffee mate). Everything was very clean and pleasant including the bathrooms. If given the chance I would definitely return. A typical Guadalajara Mom hang out after they drop off the kids at school place. The have valet parking as well as street parking. Valet much easier. The specialize in Waffles obviously but me living in the states only go for the more "mexican" dishes. They serve good coffee and great service as well as fun servers that are always on hand for anythibg you need. Good for big groups and great okace to talk with your friends. We all had a good time, fully belly and energized for the day when we left. Good prices also. I highly recommend this place when in the Chapalita area. read more

I loved this place!!! Reminded me of home. I've been in GDL a for almost a month and wanted something that remind me of home. Found this on yep!! There was a line out the door.. which means it has to be good. We had to wait 10 min which was fine because it was worth it. The hit chocolate was delish... had a Cinnamon stick in it which made it flavor able . The Belgian waffle with fruit was the bomb... very fresh. I couldn't eat all of it. I'm not sure if I had terrible luck, but my experience wasn't nearly as good as the other reviews. First, they said it would be about a 20 minute wait and it was more like 45. Found this place on yelp while visiting Guadalajara. The waffles were amazing. I had the enfrijoladas norteñas they were kinda salty, i ate them simply because it was the best food i had had all day. So good! I needed some thing other than Mexican food on my trip and this place was it. I ordered on UberEATS to my hotel. It got there fast and it was relatively cheap. I got the waffle sandwich, had ham bacon egg lettuce tomato. My gf got the waffles with yogurt and fruit topping also amazing. Definitely recommend it read more
