    Salmon with pistachio cream

I truly enjoyed my experience at Boulangerie Central. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They have ample indoor seating and outdoor seating. I would suggest sitting outdoors (it will be in the back of the restaurant), the scenery and ambiance are wonderful. Some dishes I would recommend include: Salmon with their special pistachio sauce, enchiladas verdes, and their filet mignon. Their food is very flavorful and come in a nice presentation. Their croissants are great--they are flaky and crunchy. They pair well with their coffee. They also sell gelato and popsicles by the front of the restaurant. I highly suggest this spot! It is delicious.

This place is a must go for brunch. My mimosa had orange juice spheres of ice , very good attention to details. The egg Benedict's are very good and all ingredients are good and fresh. I didn't have the best server. But the food was good. I was amazed how good my burger was. Everything is fresh and made right when you order it. The sauces on the burger was on point. Only thing I didn't like is they didn't have Potatoes for fries.

My girlfriend and i where on vacation in Guadalarara a few weeks back, So glad we got to experience this place. The service was great, the building was loading with people enjoying thier meals. This time around we got to eat out this in there patio area, it was well shaded, clean and spacious. live plants created a nice shaded canopy They had a few peacocks roaming the patio The food was tastefull, fast service, for a great price. I HIGHLY recommed this location.next time i am in town this is the first place i am having breakfast.

I gave Boulangerie Central a 3 star not because of the food. The food is worth a visit alone. However, I was one of the first customers when BC opened its doors seven years ago therefore, I was naturally excited to go back and visit after such a long time. Because I follow them on instagram, I prepared myself and made a birthday dinner celebration about two weeks before my visit. I mentioned I would like a table in their garden and they said yes "if the weather allowed". When we arrived on a Friday, the restaurant looked a little empty. The skies did look a little questionable so they said no to a meal in the garden. When we were shown to our table, the waiter did not seemed enthusiastic. Im not completely sure what it was about his service but two out of the three attendees ordered an appentizer and when those were finished, the waiter thought we were done. I don't want to think we were judged but it seemed like the waiter thought we wouldn't be eating full course meals. I felt rushed when ordering so I looked to see if maybe the crowd had increased. The amount of people was the same. We weren't given any check backs during any of the meals and struggled to grab the waiter's attention when we were ready to grab the check. All three people had an appetizer, an entree, a hot drink with dessert. BC isn't on the cheap end of Guadalajara dining so you would think the experience given to people going out would be rememberable. All in all, the food keeps being great. The environment and experience is lacking professionalism and proper server etiquette. I noticed the waiter reaching for our plates from accross the table little details like the assumption we wouldn't be ordering more was almost enough for me to leave. I also later found out the area above facing the garden was open. This area would have made an appropriate substitute to the garden being off limits to do the possibility of rain. I give their instagram page props. It is exceptionally curated. It shows live music and people dining in the garden most of the time. Unfortunately, eating out after COVID has become an outlet to relax and feed our eyes and when this expectation isn't lined up with the tab and the curated instagram posts, there is something to be left in desire.

So far, I've come to this place twice already. I would say that both times I've had a wonderful time. Food is great, music is relaxing and the decorations take your mind to another place. For a relaxing morning, for a date, to hang out with friends, and more, this place is wonderful!

So delicious! So glad we split it.

A must go to breakfast place if you are in Guadalajara! No question about it. JUST GO! The menu has so many choices and the food was amazing, so delicious. The latte was perfect. Juices fresh. Incredible service. The coffee came out immediately and the food shortly after. Every plate that went by my table looked so good! The restaurant and outdoor patio are beautiful. I will be back to try more dishes.

A cute little house turned into a restaurant. The food was really good and very pleasing to the eye. Service was so fast and attentive. Everything we ordered was really good except it was pretty greasy but I mean we didn't come here for healthy reasons. Either way I recommend!

Really great breakfast/lunch spot and bakery. I'm pretty new to GDL and I was really happy to find this place. Great French Omelette, fresh squeezed oj and a strong cafe americano. Highly recommended - great service and music too !

If you want the world's best French toast, look no further. The sweet gelato on top is delightful and strawberries were fresh as could be. The Croque Madame was delicious as well. From the first bite, I could taste just how good their bread was. The salad on the side was refreshing and has a great spicy kick to it. Would highly recommend breakfast here!

A great stop for a café!

Yummy, yummy, yummy! A traditional french bouloungerie, with modern decor, and a friendly vibe that is inherintly Mexican. An overgrown garden in the rear of this historic (former) home peaks through the windows and doors. Original art deco tile and fixures really add to the ambience of this place. Also...trust me, eat a chocolate croissant. Thank me later.

Had the chilaquilles divorciados...and found them just too salty. The matcha latte was decent and not too sweet. Indulged in the guava cream cheese pastry that paired well with their coffee. Chill atmosphere with dainty place settings. Food regrets = should have ordered the French toast :(

The dish was amazing though served with apples and a very nice sauce. I tasted my colleague'a three chile tuna and it was good as well. Wine list - almost exclusively French reds, some of which you don't see in Mexico. Weirdly only one or two whites and just one bottle of champagne. Service - 4 stars. Nice and efficient but not well practiced, especially for Mexico. Eccentric - when we tried to order something, they would cross it off the blackboard menu. Why not cross it off before we ordered the item. It happened with confit of duck, with the apple tart and one other dish I don't remember. And for coffee - no french press or brewed coffee just the requisite and common in Mexico pod based espresso machine. Ambience - eccentric. Just weird but ok. For the quality French kitchen and the prices, give it a try!

We were pleasantly surprised by the homey yet elegant look of the place. The staff makes you feel very welcome and are very attentive, some of the best service we've received, rivaled only by very high end restaurants. The menu is written on a chalk board that is rolled over to you. The writing is very hard to read, but unless your familiar with French cuisine, you're better off asking the waiter to run through the menu for you. We had a delicious appetizer called Plato de Charcuterías that consisted of an assortment of fine cheese, bread, salami, and Ham (the European kind). Our entrees were the Burguignon and Filete de Cerdo which were both delicious. The also serve duck and the typical escargo. You must visit.

Could use a massive update, then again.. The menu is ultra Fran^ais . Loaded with many of the old school classics I was raised on. Back to the future. The wine list is a little on the basic side, specially the French options. The service is really good and attentive, kind and quite elegant, they definitely try hard. Ok.. now the food.. let's not forget that we are 6000 miles from Paris and 5000 feet higher.. to be fair, we are so far that I even managed to confused magret and confit de canard, so yeah.. now, the result is, well it is what it is, it's not amazing, but you are in Guadalajara and I'd say it tastes a bit like when my grandma lost her hand a little.. overall I'm not unhappy, it was a pleasant experience, it was a long walk down memory lane. Lights out. Merci. See you next time. Food hammer: The escargots could use more garlic and real shells, the watercress salad would do much better with an egg " molet", the magret, consider grilling it "rose" like it's done in the sud-ouest.. the other dish, I'm not sure what it was, I did not order it. La tarte tatin.. more pate feuillete nearly burn the apples in caramel before hitting it up with a great vanille bean ice-cream.. a leaf or two of mint.. perfection.. this said, you guys managed to source the right apples, that's the hardest part, good job!
