Simple spin on a daiquiri takes house pineapple rum (a mega-layered blend of 7 rums blessed with ananas for a spiky, sweet base) and adds a dash or two of absinthe before flaring it up in a shaken blaze of glory. I mean, get El Pájaro but pretend to look at the other foods because the menu is a baseball card folder with fun and funky players for each of the dranks. Food? They may not have space for much, but they have what matters -plantain chips and a panini press for as authentic a Cubano sandwich as you'll find in Montreal.
