There is a sauna and an exterior Jaccuzi which my wife and I enjoyed immensely. Despite all of this, the manager, Regis Barthe, who is also the chef, has no support staff! He was handling everything from checking guests in, to showing the rooms, answering the phones, check outs, cooking, waiting on tables, bartender, and maitre'D ! He was completely left floundering for himself... And somehow pulled off the most incredible meals! The guy is a European trained chef, and prepared his own creations from the local terroir... Such as filet de canard, and chèvre braisse. He is an exemplary chef, but the owners of the place need to pay attention and give him help... He can't do it all. We've given 3 stars only because of the lack of staffing... You can't serve guests properly with one guy, the chef, doing it all!! We'd go back for his meal genius alone, but the owners better help him out.

We enjoyed some pork, duck, gand veal along with good salads and delicious fresh vegetables. Smoked salmon appetizer made on premise was excellent. Classic french cuisine. There was a fish and beef option as well. Everything was nicely presented. This was definitely as good a meal as any we had in Quebec city Regis, the chef, and his wife Claire, both from France, were both charming and very helpful as inn managers as well. Claire booked us on a whale watching tour the next AM in Baie-St-Catherine which was well worth it. We had to leave before breakfast the next morning so Regis prepared a delicious mignerone cheese sandwich for us to take on the road.

You then go online and find what looks to not only be a reasonably priced Inn, but it also looks charming...you grab it. From the moment we arrived, we knew we'd found a diamond. The Auberge Côte d'Or is a beautiful, tastefully appointed and very charming family-run inn within 15 minutes of Le Massif, overlooking the Saint Lawrence. The owners are so welcoming and hospitable. Our room was ready at 2pm, upon our arrival. We'd yet to eat, so they put together a nice vegetable soup and freshly baked rolls for us. The room and bathroom are beautiful and like the entire inn, very cozy and very clean. The ambience here is very warm and inviting. The inn's dog Cookie is adorable and also quite friendly. There are three sitting areas. One has a large leather sectional and rocking chair around a wood stove. Lots of games for folks to play or just a place to relax and read. The tv room has a couple leather chairs. The entire inn is wifi connected. The hot tub can be reserved for 30 min for your group only, so bring your bathing suits. There is a sauna available for a small fee per room and massages too. They also have a billiards room. There are à la carte and boarding options for meals. Extremely reasonable and worth the board. Five course dinners, from offerings such as filet mignon, chicken, rainbow trout, salmon, duck breast. The breakfasts are incredible. The forfait breakfast (one that comes with the boarding plan) is homemade bread with homemade jams (strawberry, raspberry, wild blueberry), meat of choice (ham, sausage, bacon), one egg your way (sunny side, our easy, scrambled), seasoned crispy oven potatoes fresh fruit and fresh OJ and coffee/tea. À la carte items include pancakes, omelets. I highly recommend the rainbow trout, the rib eye, the duck breast. all were very good. My favorite dessert was the homemade pouding au chomeur, or unemployed pudding) to which my S.O. replied, "if I become unemployed, you'll make this for me, too?" "Sure," I said. "might as well make the loss worthwhile (it was THAT good). The owner Robin and his family make you feel welcomed and special. This place truly deserves your time and attention. It'll be bittersweet the next time I try to reserve if it's all booked up, but that's what happens when you announce to the world that there's a place people need to check out and stay-that's fine by me. :-)

The kitchen wasn't huge but was enough to make a basic breakfast and dinner. Also, can't beat the location because you can walk right off into the gondola / ski school. Oh, and there is a play room for the kids (added pictures) in case parents need a break while kids run around for a bit.

The king bed was on the upper loft and a sofa bed for the kiddos in the living room. Full kitchen and a washer and dryer in the units we're great. The hotel has a really nice indoor and outdoor pool and stays open really late which is really nice. Didn't get a chance to use the gym but the setup looked really solid. We had breakfast included with our room and was a pretty standard fare. Eggs, protein, pastries etc. I found it to be perfectly adequate but my wife wasn't that impressed. They have ev charging on-site. 6 stalls I believe? Only had trouble 1 of the days to find an open space. People don't tend to be that courteous and move their cars once done with charging. Overall it was a great stay and a great value. Will definitely be back.

The bed was comfortable, decent pillows and the shower had great water pressure. Cable TV with basic local channels. The only thing I found odd was at the reception they charge for a Keurig coffee. Normally coffee would be complimentary. It wouldn't stop me from coming back however. If you're skiing for a weekend and need a simple place to crash, this is it!

The place is very clean, friendly (although there was a bit of a language barrier, we all got our points across as needed!), and great parking. Beautiful view from the restaurant and our room. We each had a beautiful cut of filet mignon with veggies for entrees, as well as escargots and spring rolls for appetizers. Everything was deliciously and perfectly prepared! The pool was well-maintained and enjoyable! If we ever visit this area again (likely!) we would definitely eat and stay here again!
