SO very glad we visited this place outside of town upon the recommendation of a local. We were…read moredying to try the local alcohol pulque - and we were Told this was one of the only places that served it. The servers were kind and friendly - and enthusiastic about speaking English (as we were about practicing our Spanish!). The service was quick and each item we tasted was full of flavorful and so very fresh. we ordered the pulque (one mango and one rompope) as well as some Molletes (bread, cheese, meat - need I say more?!) - one with chorizo and one with pastor. Have to admit I enjoyed the chorizo one way more! The queso fundido was out of this world and the mushrooms were fresh and flavorful and had infused the cheese with that slight mushroom taste. It was delicious! The drinks were strong - and the local alcohol was so so tangy but so good! Really would highly recommend this place!
