Mario greeted us with beverages and an extensive set of maps to great sights and restaurants. This was infinitely helpful and I appreciated his attention to detail and the explanations of exactly how to get to places. When you're in a new city, it's nice to have a list of food options ready to go.
The room was gorgeously done and included free wi-fi and an Apple computer to use. The fridge was stocked with drinks, including wine, soda, and water, and there were some chocolates and robes laid out on the bed. Each room also had a Nespresso machine, which made amazing coffee. The bathroom was immaculate and had the nicest shower, I've ever used. The towels were luxurious. And, if this weren't all nice enough, the bed was super comfortable and provided a great night's sleep.
In the morning, Mario offered breads with butter, jam, and preserves, ham, cheese, and eggs cooked to you preference, yogurt with granola, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed juice, and a variety of Nespresso coffee drinks. It was the perfect, personalized breakfast. Breakfast was served from 7-10 in a lovely, bright seating area.
I cannot recommend Art de Sejour enough. We would come back to Brussels just to stay here again. Mario's pride in ownership is evident and you will leave feeling completely pampered.
