The service...all business. The Tapas...traditional mixed with new style. And, a great wine list.
We came upon this establishment in Burgos due to the crowd milling within the walls and out onto the tiny street.
The pulpo was average. But, everything else, was above average. We loved the various fish and vegetable based tapas including a salmon, langoustine, roasted pepper and mushrooms.
And, we loved the tiny stylized hamburger ( mini hamburguesa). It was a great little, albeit, expensive taste of back home. The fried onion bits on top are a great little touch.
The service was Braque and efficient. That's the style here...brusque. But, these ladies and gentlemen have to be! They're slammed. The woman serving us was kind enough to give us one minute for a wine recommendation.
I would highly recommend this spot if you find yourself in the beautiful city of Burgos. read more
