But, everything else, was above average. We loved the various fish and vegetable based tapas including a salmon, langoustine, roasted pepper and mushrooms. And, we loved the tiny stylized hamburger ( mini hamburguesa). It was a great little, albeit, expensive taste of back home. The fried onion bits on top are a great little touch. The service was Braque and efficient. That's the style here...brusque. But, these ladies and gentlemen have to be! They're slammed. The woman serving us was kind enough to give us one minute for a wine recommendation. I would highly recommend this spot if you find yourself in the beautiful city of Burgos.

We kept getting the feeling he just doesn't like Americans. Fortunately the food was really good and there's a great atmosphere. However, when you feel like your server wishes he wasn't your server it makes everything else fall flat. We have had wonderful experiences here in Burgos so one bad server won't affect our love for this beautiful town. The salmon was raw... and when we ordered the anchovies the manager told us the dish had some roasted vegetables, but they served just with a few potatoes... About the service: we had to wait too much to order the food, and the restaurant was half empty, all was a chaos, we had 4 different waiters and they were completely lost. And we felt ignored several times... We werent the only ones in the room with that feeling.... At the end after the lunch, we wanted to use the toilet, we had to wait a lot coz one of the waitress was using it as a fitting room... it is sad coz that was one of the best places in Burgos, I hope they brighten up of this, otherwise this restaurant won't work...
