I cannot explain it all; you just have to go. The food is the main thing when you go out to eat, of course. I started with a kir, but not the Normandy version which I had before and it is nothing more than cassis with some local sparkling cider. I had one of the galettes. Galettes are, I guess you can say, like crepes but brown, so guessing wheat based?! No clue, really. But this one was delicious. It's flat, then filled with cheese, ham, some other interesting stuff and also a fried egg. Loved it! Also, it was quite a size so did fill me up. Might have to find that place again tomorrow!

The buck wheat crepes were all the same, except with a different sauce - either none, chocolate, caramel, or strawberry. They were warm, tip-top fresh, and delicious. The ciders were aerated, and a little tangy, and ok, but I'm not sure I would personally go out of my way for them. The space was historic and tight but also full of local flavor the way we would have wanted it to be.

The oysters were super yummy and fresh and I would definitely recommend. The duck was also pretty good however when I first received it the duck was pretty raw. The service: the waitress was very sweet however there were quite a few mistakes in our meal, and a few things missing.
