My recent visit was like all the others, easy as a breeze and at great prices. Yes, it is on Avenue Road next to Pusateri's and looks very high end, and indeed sells a lot of high end lighting, but they also sell lighting fixtures for those of us with smaller budgets. If you just walk in, you can get lost and overwhelmed with the choices, there is everything you could ever want and more. However you can check out their website and pick some options before going to the store, or better yet their current flyer with great deals and specials and have a good idea what you want before you get there. Bonus! Royal Lighting has tons of lights in stock, so if you need to get some new lights up quick, you don't have to wait for them to be shipped, just go and pick them up on the spot! My sales rep Raj, who I have been dealing with since 1995, is great and I highly recommend him... so friendly, so helpful. Another great bonus! Almost all the lights I purchased were made in Canada... something you won't see at Home Depot and the other big box stores where everything is made in China or the US. Never realized Wednesday mornings were so busy for them?! Nothing here was my taste. Did not like music or displays and it seemed to be a bit of a jumbled mess. Stressful mood. Left and went next door to union lighting where I also did not find what I was looking for but had a much more enjoyable experience. Worth checking out if you are on the strip looking for lights. They do. It did not seem that they had same selection as others and no realistic room settings just stuff hanging. I did find some great prices on full length mirrors under $200 worth returning for.

The glue holding the marble to the wood base that screws into the table is failing and makes horrible noises as it separates the wood from the marble. This now makes the tables dangerous to use since the marble is no longer attached to the tables at all and these tables are very top heavy. I'm waiting to hear back from the store to see what my options are and if it will be covered under warranty but from all the other reviews I've been reading I am not holding my breath. It's a shame because I really do love the look but the quality is definitely not there. Unfortunately, my friend ordered the Leonardo marble end tables and the wood base completely fell off one of the marble tables after three weeks so this looks like it might be a manufacturing issue with all of the marble end tables.

Light, durable, strong. And expensive. Not that there are any price tags anywhere. And not that there are many samples. I went there to check out a new mattress and was interested in their OrthoTemp and OrthoPlus. They are different, but don't expect anyone there to tell you how. They had one 'medium' support model of each of these types on display in the showroom. But what if I'd prefer medium-firm? or firm? There were none to try. When asked, their answers were along the lines of, 'well, one person likes firm, and another likes something else'. Not too helpful. Their website is also pretty obtuse. So do I plunk down $$$$ for a mattress I've never even sat on? Not today. Why 3 stars? Well, I was happy with the mattresses I'd bought from them years ago. And I'm pretty sure there is a sales person who is knowledgeable and helpful, but she was not in the showroom today. So I guess I'll just have to phone first, be sure she's there, and try again.
