And it's still pretty much the same (mostly in a good way). After it was fully booked on the weekend we came back on a weekday....plenty of tables left. We had some warm Crostini for a starter with two glasses of Spritz (Prosecco with Aperol). A really good choice. Crostini topped with fatty Pancetta, meat, paprika-spread, tomato, artichokes and radicchio. Good to share for two. For the mains we had the Seafood Spaghetti and Pasta with crema di Porcini. The Seafood Pasta is still great. The Pasta with Crema was new to us....interesting combination and very filling. We had some house wine with that (half liter for 4 Euros!). The service was - and this hasn't changed - a bit basic. But the reason could also be that the service doesn't speak much english - and our skills in italian are not really good too. But that's fine....we got what we wanted. And dogs are welcome too! It's a really good restaurant. Our #2 in town (behind "Xke Qua"). Be sure not to miss it, since it's a bit on the northern end of town, but beside a huge parking lot. Surely would go back. Prices are fair too.

Between the three of us we shared two pizzas - the margherita, and the proscuitto e funghi. Both were delicious, but I tend to like more toppings on my pizzas so I enjoyed the proscuitto e funghi one more. The crust was really light and chewy, but also thin enough to hold all the sauce and toppings. They were also quite giant! We also tried the limoncello spritz, but that wasn't our favorite. Last time we've visited this wonderful Restaurant three times....it was just so good. So we were wondering if it's still great. And YES....it's still our absolute favourite! The food is fantastic. But it's not only that....it's the whole package. Absolutely great staff, an atmosphere that is welcoming....you'll feel at home immediatly. Great food....convenient location. And due to really low prices (and big portions) an almost unbeatable value! Lavinia and Elena were perfect hosts and made us feel welcome and almost part of the family. It's a cosy restaurant with lots of locals, some italian tourists and the occasional international tourists. This might be different in high season....dunno. The food is real down-to-earth homecooked Italian Food. Pasta, Pizza, Seafood....and more. And it's all cooked to perfection. We loved it so much, this time we came here five times....in one week! I was dying. I had…read moreto get up this morning at 7 to get dressed and eat breakfast but by 1pm and still not having any legit lunch, our group ended up on another tour around this area. The problem was that our tour guide said the tour will be at least an hour before we get lunch. I had an idea though... I decided to when the group was distracted with the WC that I would run up a side alley and find some food. Enter Riccapizza. You almost wouldn't believe its there if you walked by too fast. But this place is legit. I was able to sneak in, order a pizza and sneak out in a matter of minutes without my party knowing. Best part? This pizza friggin legit. I love how big the slices are and the sauce is reallllllly tasty. If you are in the area and need a quick bite I HIGHLY recommend. It was so good, I had to shamefully get two more slices hahaha...
