Bought a coupon for medi pedi. Came a little late for an afternoon appointment so she said she didn't have time to do both. I was ok with it since it was my fault that I was late. So she only did my toes. I made another appointment for my mani a few days after.... I made sure the day and time.... Only to find out that they were CLOSED!!!! No notice or call or anything! Oh another thing, she told me that my toe nails were done and dry and that I could put on my shoes... Only to come home to a ruined sock and ruined painted nails! Sigh....

The Vic Park gym and Vic Park Medispa are now separate entities from the Annie Young spa. This is a full service spa with manicure/pedicure, facials, massage, waxing, makeup and hair salon. It's a beautiful bright open space on the third floor with lots of natural light. They have a great selection of makeup, hair and skin care products available to buy, but there is never any pressure to buy anything which I really like. The staff are outstanding, they are all very good at what they do, I have never had a bad service here. I haven't tried everything but I have had manicures, pedicures, makeup and hair done here. Everyone is incredibly pleasant, and the co-owner Charlene is often around and is a real delight to talk to. A minor thing - if you are here for a manicure in the winter, wear a sweater, the stations are next to the big windows and can get chilly. The prices are on the higher side but in line with what similar salons will charge and given the quality of the treatments are definitely worth the money. Annie Young is an awesome spot for all your primping needs. Highly recommended.

I had a reflexology massage with Mirela and she had such a comforting and relaxing energy and not to mention extremely skillful and knowledgeable about her profession. I had a Swedish massage with Nadiya and let me tell you if I lived in your country I would come see this lady for a massage every week; best massage of my life, she is very skillful. I had a brow tint with Steph C and she did a great job and then as we all know right after a brow tint it can be very intense especially for someone with my pale complexion so Francine very kindly offered to touch up my make up so that I didn't feel too self conscious to spend the rest of the day at the mall :) This establishment is well run and have hired a lovely and professionally accommodating staff.

I rarely get my hair cut at a salon so after reading a few articles about this place and seeing favorable reviews I was excited to get pampered. I was able to book an appointement with just one day notice and arrived on a Thursday evening to get a simple cut and style. I was a little worried upon entering since I saw many of the customers or hairdressers sporting rather "funky" haircuts and colors, but my hair stylist was able to work with the photo inspiration I had and I felt at ease throughout. Seems like the prices have been gone up since the last reviews I read, men's hair cuts start at $35 and because I had thicker hair, my cut was $55 plus tax. I am not sure how this compares elsewhere, but I wish the men's cuts were more affordable. Especially for the neighborhood and many other salons available within walking distance, I don't find the prices to be of great value. I really wanted to recommend this place to my boyfriend but it is cheaper to go to Walmart or regular barber in this case. Everyone is friendly and the salon has a great vibe, the end result was good so I would consider coming back but if you are on a budget, or are a guy and need something very simple, le 7 Carre may be a little too fancy.
