More importantly, just be aware that if you're looking for a California based accountant, you may interview with one for onboarding, but then they'll hand you off to a random accountant from a different state to handle you from then on. This can be problematic re: tax and business management if that accountant isn't familiar with the highly specific California laws. When I brought up my concerns, instead of acknowledging or trying to address them, the response simply welcomed me to take my business elsewhere, which I did. And if someone I knew was considering working with them, I'd recommend they do the same.
