If this was illness or he had called the night before that would have been fine because we could have still gone to work, but to do this on a work day right before our meeting with that kind of excuse is VERY unprofessional. We have jobs too you know, with meetings that we missed in order to get this done because it was important to sign promptly. Only *AFTER* we expressed that we were upset did he bounce back a several minutes later offering to stop by on his way to his other job. Enough time had passed between our text and his follow up that we were able to call around actually find another notary that was able to squeeze us in last min and had started driving to see him so we could finish and get back to work. It worked out for the best because this other place was $50 cheaper and we were in and out in 10 min! Ya goofed Sir. I needed two notary signatures / seals for a Durable Power of Attorney document, and a Medical Power of Attorney document and Sam was able to do both without any issues or hiccups. When she was finished, I asked for multiple business cards of hers so I could refer future friends and colleagues in need of a notary to her in the future. They insisted that I wait to file a claim or to begin an investigation (search for the package inside the store or review their cameras to see if the package left the store). It has been almost 3 weeks and my package was never scanned into the UPS system. It has been presumably lost or stolen and the UPS investigation has not shown any evidence that the box left their store with a UPS driver; it has not been found in a warehouse either. The management offered no refund and despite numerous calls to the store, they have not returned my calls. I have subsequently opened a formal complaint with UPS store corporate office, initiated a chargeback with my card issuer, and filed a police report. After paying over $100 to ship an item, the least I can expect is that the service is received. Please approach this store with caution if you are shipping packages!!!
