I opted for a somewhat predictable garlic bread for a starter (don't ask for garlic bread with cheese - for some reason this is frowned upon!!) and I thought it might be a but dry and boring. However, it was moist, delicious and extremely garlicky. The nicest I've had for some time.
For mains I just ordered a lasagne. If an Italian restaurant can't cook a decent lasagne then theres really no hope. Thankfully it was really delicious and a very decent portion. Always reassuring to find a bay leaf buried inside! It tasted very fresh and very home made.
Friendly service, nicely paced, myself and my friends really enjoyed having a late, leisurely lunch here. Peroni on draught is a nice touch.
