We have had several events with her at The Venue and at their smaller location Z Party - each time the spaces are gorgeous, tables are perfect, and our guests are treated like royalty. This is our go to team for meetings, birthdays, holidays - you name it! If you can dream it, she can do it, and it takes so much stress off of hosting and always impresses our guests!

When I mentioned peonies as my favorite flower, we were told that if having a specific flower was important to us, "maybe this isn't the right venue for you." This was surprising, especially since there were several peony arrangements throughout the venue. The conversation then shifted to concerns about matching linens and decor, even though that was never something we had requested. We were also initially told that we could bring some of our own decorations if we wanted to and that it would not affect pricing. However, when we later called to move forward with that option, we were told outside decorations disrupt business operations and were again told that "maybe this isn't the right venue for you." We completely respect that every venue has its own policies. What disappointed us was the inconsistency and the feeling that our questions and ideas were more of an inconvenience than part of the planning process. The venue is truly stunning, but the overall experience ultimately led us to book elsewhere.

They did my bouquet and all bridesmaid bouquets, groom & groomsmen flowers, pew flowers and alter flowers. They also were very accomodating when I just wanted table linens and twinkle lights for the reception instead of their full-on reception decorations. I was very thankful they came and did that small amount for the reception, most companies would not have agreed unless you buy the whole show! I had created my own table centerpieces and decor and only needed table linens and some twinkle lights over the picture windows. They were a dream to work with and we had no problems at all. Highly recommended!

I'm going to start off with the positives: My ceremony and…read morereception looked absolutely amazing, but I would hope that for $10,000 it would. If you are willing to spend BIG, Razzle Dazzle is the place to go, but approach this business with patience and an open check book. I guess that wasn't so positive. The flowers were also beautiful. My friend's mother who attended my wedding used to be a florist. She said that the flowers were incredible, but when I told her how much the flowers alone were, she basically told me I got robbed. It gets even better, the first appointment I had was with Curtis. Curtis was AMAZING. I loved him. During my first consultation we just discussed some ideas, colors, themes, etc, however, when I returned to Razzle Dazzle about a month later, Curtis had been "let go." I have a feeling he quit because of the terrible people he had to work with on a daily basis, but the women at Razzle Dazzle insisted that he was "let go" because providing false promises to brides. Doubt it. Aida, the owner of Razzle Dazzle picked up my wedding, and had me reschedule with her. When I returned for my *new* appointment, she claimed that "somebody" didn't write me in the books for the day. I LITERALLY SAW HER WRITE MY NAME AND TIME ON HER SCHEDULE DURING OUR LAST MEETING. So, another reschedule. This next appointment, Aida was supposed to have my table viewings in the showroom. I had two different table options and neither of them were set up when I went in for this appointment. Aida had her staff create a half-ass version of what my tables were supposed to look like. This table viewing is extra by the way. At this point, I was praying that Razzle Dazzle was going to make it to my wedding. The other 2 issues are pretty major as well. My bouquet for my bridal portraits were beautiful, my bouquet for my wedding was twice the cost and looked pretty much the same as my bridesmaids' bouquets. Oh, and they never returned my mother's veil to me that I incorporated into my bouquet. DO NOT USE RAZZLE DAZZLE. They will seriously make you resent a great portion of your wedding planning experience, but like I said at the beginning, my actual ceremony and reception looked amazing. People told me it was the most gorgeous wedding they had ever been to, but I'm still not sure it was worth the money and the stress...

I DO NOT RECOMMEND LONE STAR EVENTS…read more Please read the reviews and do your research before trusting this company with your wedding. She was supposed to begin setting up at 4:00 PM, but the setup still was not completed when my guests were arriving around 5:30 PM. A bystander even had to help with the setup. My guests were waiting for the ceremony area to be finished when they should have been able to arrive and enjoy the wedding. Even worse, before my ceremony I was texting and calling her asking whether everything was being set up. My focus should have been on ME, getting ready, enjoying the excitement and preparing to marry my husband. Instead, I was worrying about whether the person I paid to handle my wedding was going to have everything ready. I can never get that time back. I hired a professional specifically so I would NOT have to manage my own wedding setup. I paid for 30 chairs and received only 26, something she has acknowledged in writing. Then there was the arch. She now claims she brought it to the beach, but I personally never saw it or saw an attempt to set it up. Someone who was there told me she commented that the arch was expensive, that I "didn't pay enough," and that she didn't want it to break. She says wind was the reason it wasn't erected. However, there were other weddings on the beach that day with arches set up. After hearing that comment and never seeing my arch, I absolutely questioned what happened. The finished setup was also significantly different from what I believed I was purchasing based on the photos used to advertise the service. When I questioned this afterward, she told me the advertisement was an "inspiration/design image." If an advertised setup is only inspiration and isn't representative of what the customer should expect, I believe that needs to be made clear BEFORE payment. The lack of preparation also shocked me. At one point she was sweeping the beach with a hanger because she did not have the proper equipment. This was a planned beach wedding. I expected an experienced event professional to arrive prepared. I also was not told until AFTER I had paid that she herself would be my officiant. Even after finding out, I gave her a chance. Unfortunately, when she arrived, I did not feel her clothing, shoes or overall presentation were appropriate or professional for someone who would stand beside us during our vows and appear in our wedding photos. Her shoes appeared several sizes too large, and her feet and extremely long toenails appeared to have what looked like a fungal issue. This isn't about judging someone's appearance. I expected a paid wedding officiant to arrive clean, polished and professionally presented. I was so uncomfortable with the situation that I had to pay a judge at the last minute to officiate my wedding instead. That is not a decision I should have been dealing with immediately before getting married. Thankfully, my family and others came together and saved my wedding day. Without everyone stepping in, I genuinely believe my ceremony could have been a disaster. Afterward, she acknowledged in writing that four chairs were not provided and the arch was not erected, but offered only a $150 "customer service adjustment." I explained why I didn't believe that adequately addressed my experience, but she maintained the offer. I will update this review if and when I actually receive the $150. As of posting this, I have not received it. I also noticed another reviewer previously updated her review saying she had not received a refund she was promised, so I will update mine accordingly. Before another lengthy explanation appears underneath my review, I encourage potential customers to read the other reviews AND the business's responses and make your own judgment. After going back through them, I noticed concerns that felt very similar to my experience. I wish I had paid more attention before booking. Her texts and responses to me also came across as AI/ChatGPT-generated. I obviously cannot know what she actually used, but they felt extremely formal, generic, repetitive and impersonal rather than like a genuine conversation with the person I trusted with my wedding. Your wedding day cannot be redone. I paid a professional so I could enjoy mine without worrying whether my setup would be completed, whether everything I purchased would be provided, or whether I would need another officiant at the last minute. Unfortunately, those are exactly the things I dealt with. I would NEVER use Lone Star Events again. Based on my personal experience, I absolutely do not recommend this business. Read the reviews, ask questions and get EVERYTHING in writing before you book. I truly wish I had done more research before trusting this company with my wedding day.

I returned to Corpus Christi for a wedding and it happened to be at this venue. This is from a…read moreguest perspective, so keep it in mind, plus I'm Houston bound. I know others might argue, this is a 3 star, especially with the beautiful over the top reception places in Houston, but this place makes perfect sense for Corpus Christi. It's simple, chic, and best of all the packages are affordable. (I went to see how much events cost there. I feel my Houston wedding which was beautiful and 5 stars all the way, cost like a jillion dollars compared to their prices and my event venue wasn't on the crazy expensive side either.) The venue allowed family to do a very traditional old school, Mexican style wedding, with them cooking for all the guests and helping with serving. There were staffers there, who were mainly in charge of clean up and making sure the bride/groom had what they needed. I assume having the staff serve costs more, but seeing that traditional old school style wedding to me was great. Bathrooms were large and clean. Dance space was a tad on the smaller size, but nothing that could prevent a party. Decoration space is basically dependent on how you decorate your wedding. It can be a chic wedding, a traditional one, or something else entirely. Look if you're in Corpus and you're on a budget come here. The bride that had her wedding here was in the Houston area, so they do work with out of town brides too. It's a space for mid sized weddings, so if you need 300 plus, you may need to look elsewhere. With this economy, definitely give this place a shot. You need a wedding, not spend money on a down payment to a 400K house. Go tour it. You'll notice it's simple, but with a keen decorating eye you can make this space be yours, which is great for a girl on a budget.
