Also, I had tried to cut his hair once before, and I kinda butchered it in the back, so I thought it was probably best to leave the first real haircut to the professionals. I made an appointment with Jay on the website, and showed up about 5 minutes before our slot. When it was our turn, Parker got to sit in the fighter jet chair which has a nice-sized TV in front of it, and before we could even suggest Ms. Rachel (who I joke is my baby's third parent), Jay already had her pulled up. And let me tell you, my little boy was an absolute angel for his haircut... because all he wanted to do was watch Ms. Rachel. At one point, Jay handed him an oversized rubber ducky to keep his hands occupied. At the end, Jay said Parker was the quietest baby she'd seen! My boy REALLY loves Ms. Rachel, guys ;) The haircut turned out great, although I have mixed feelings if only because he looked so much more like a toddler after! The folks at our daycare said it looked fantastic and asked who we used.
