Came through as part of a tour. Spanish establishments always off an abundance of food. Salad with duck & walnuts was fabulous! I enjoyed Marconi almonds & Iberian ham. Another fine restaurant in the area of Los Alcazares with ambience aplenty right on the waterfront. Great service and friendly staff make your experience a memorable one. Fine food as the grilled squid, garlic prawns and sole in champagne sauce with prawns are to die for. Enjoy as we do every time we visit. read more

First resort in the whole of Mar Menor . Is a throwback in time with the original thermal baths and spa in situ . Has 3 restaurants in total serving top quality Spanish food . Tapas as well as A la Carte . We ate in the outdoor terrace at lunchtime I ate lightly although Aiden had a beautiful fish dish from the main menu . Service was impeccable and beautiful views and breezes came our way from the Mar Menor Has great breakfast deals and happy hour between 5 and 7 . Every Thursday there is music in the spa in July and August and also Jazz on a Sunday. Will definitely go back sometime this holiday. read more

Great tapas! However told my kids they were not allowed tapas while we had paella, in main restaurant.

This place serves really good food in a very old-fasioned Spanish setting. We ate on the seafront patio but inside is a really beautiful atrium type area full of plants. It's a lovely setting. The food we had was excellent - veal escalope, breaded chicken and calamari. Superbly cooked. What made it so special was the attitude of every member of staff - they could not have been nicer. They were attentive, friendly and everything was done with a gracious and polite smile. In terms of service I can hardly think of anywhere I have ever been which is superior and I won't ever forget how well we were treated. A fantastic experience. read more

One dinning experience I would not repeat! BEWARE: TOURISTS TRAP Not often I complain but this was terrible. Service staff was all over the place (wasn't even busy). They miss understood each other, getting orders wrong, no one understood English. People in my party could speak Spanish but they still got things wrong.Ordered a simple but classic dry martini, ended up getting a martini bianco. Tried to order a new one but without no success. Found this lovely restaurant by pot luck. Just dived off the AP7 looking for a lunch place and what did we find but one of the best meals we have had in Spain in a lovely traditional setting with excellent, friendly but professional service. May never fly to Murcia again but if we do, we will be sure to have a second incarnation there. read more

We always stop by for lunch on the way back to the airport. Wonderful setting, excellent very good food, attentive knowledgeable service & a building steeped in history. Menu del dia last week, Octopus pate canapes, fish soup or melon & ham, salmon or chicken cordon blue, salad & pudding 15 euros a head. I cannot recommend this restuarant highly enough, it is worth going out of your way to give it a visit. read more

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local. It is an old hotel built 1904 which frints directly on to the beach. There is a large veranda outside for al-fresco dining. We had lunch didn't book they have loads of tables. Drinks order was taken quickly and the drinks appeared instantaneously a first!! We have our 3 young kids with us and there is a kids menu although only one of them used it. We had an incredible octopus starter totally amazing and some super fresh prawns (a bit on the small side for me and EUR4 each..). Mains were also wonderful, beef cheek and a supreme salted bass. Quite expensive for UK visitors but worth every penny. The service was excellent, quick and in English when our Spanish failed us! Highly recommended. Also take a look at the internal courtyard it could be an Edwardian filmset. read more

No vegetarian food, and the owners aren't kind. I can't believe they think that tuna is vegetarian, come on, he was alive. The only thing I could eat was spaghetti with cream, and thanks I'm not vegan. read more
