We stopped at La Estacion and the buffet was not good. The only decent foods were chicken and quesadillas. The beef fajitas looked old and pale. Very disappointed. The rest of the store was great. So this place... has a buffet! If you are looking for authentic Mexican food with a home cooked taste, this buffet is IT!! They have your basics: frijoles, arroz, tacos, salsas, quesadillas, salads, fresh fruit (tacos/quesadillas on fresh handmade tortillas) and all sorts of "guisos", pastas, pizza, soups, and desserts. Then you have a coffee shop right outside the restaurant. AMAZING service!! A little on the pricey side, but it's delightfully tasty. You can find the SLP native Chocolates Costanzo (please try the Esponjas or the chocolate covered almonds) or the Xocolate brand chocolates (must try the Chile chocolate!!!).. So after an all you can eat buffet, stop by the coffees shop, enjoy a Baileys Cappuccino with a bite of chocolate. Yum!! read more

Honest place to stop for gas and a great place to stop for food and bathrooms. Really be careful when traveling thru Mexico when you get gas. Be certain they zero out the pump. They are good about that here. All kinds of candy, big restaurant, cafe with all kinds of hot and cold drinks, sundries, hats, toys. Practically Everything!!
