He was apologetic and said he only had ingredients for a preplanned number of diners, but called a party that was late for their reservation. Long story short, we walked around the block and were waved down by him to take a seat. The wine list is largely (if not totally) sulphate free and their cheese preservative free as well. When it came back, the breading was completely burnt, as if they had put the milanesa back in the oven, but the meat was still not properly cooked. What was even more disappointing was that when we received the bill, we noticed that they had still charged us for the milanesa. We also noticed that they had charged a cubierto for my grandmother. When we questioned it, we were told it was because she had eaten bread. Considering the experience we had and the fact that her meal was not properly prepared, we asked if they could please remove the charge, and they did. I want to emphasize that we truly love Faena and have had good experiences here before, which is why we came back. The atmosphere is beautiful and the location is very convenient, but unfortunately, today's service and the handling of the situation did not meet the standard we have come to expect from this place.
