I had the beef "gro sel" which I saw the lady at the next table eat, and it looked good. My husband had the bibalakas with smoked trout, which was good, but not quite what he was hoping for (we didn't really know what to expect). The kids had sausage and spatzel/french fries. I liked my food. Just the right portion and taste for me. Dessert was good as well. I had the black forest cake, and my husband had the pie of the day, which was a crumble raspberry pie.
Overall, a solid family friendly restaurant in old town Colmar.
