Very good italian food for a reasonable Price. The ambient is okay but is not ist strong Point. There is a good Variation of food's all made fresh and in well sized portions. My recomendation would be the Pizza capo carbonara. read more

This was probably the best place we've been to during our 5-day trip in Sardinia…read more Perfect spot to have lunch (come early enough or you'll have to wait in line), located by the beach and in the shade of a beautiful olive tree. The staff is helpful and fast, and the pizzas are very tasty with a thin crust. I'd recommend the one with salsiccia, which went great with my negroni sbagliato.

Since it's off season we are having a hard time finding the gems or popular but less touristic places. As we walked by and checked TripAdvisor (sorry Yelp, still a long way to go in some countries) I thought it might be a nice place to try. If you travel this island for some time you might have discovered that there are quite some sh*tholes here and 95 percent of the food is the same. I consider myself a pizza lover and not the greatest fish eater. But after 20 pizzas I thought "what the heck, go fish" just to discover they also had meat. I couldn't control my inner "carnivori" and ordered meat. Got a BIG piece and it was perfect. Also loved the patatos (you have to order everything separately here - don't forget) which was good. Coupled with great wine, good background music and, for the first time here, good waiters (plus their English was better then my Italiani (making the hand gesture while typing this) so that was nice for a change. They could actually tell me something about the food and wine, which is nice since that's a big part of the experience. Last but not least; great deserts and nice roof terrace (which I didn't notice from the street). It's a bit more expensive but it's worth the money. Trust me (I know what I'm doing).

We did show up a few minutes earlier than our reservation at 7:30 PM & they couldn't seat us as they were setting up. The stand out dishes were the octopus & simply grilled fish. So good, we ended up ordering seconds. The price was very reasonable for the quality & the quantity being served. There is indoor & outdoor seating available. My recommendation is to sit outdoors - you can enjoy people watching while having your dinner. Just be forewarned that they seat smokers outdoors & the crowd does seem to enjoy their cigarettes before & after the meal.

On a recent visit to Sardinia, our local friends took us to this place to enjoy a "typical…read moreSardinian meal." I can't imagine eating like this all the time -- there was so much food, and it was so delicious! I would have a hard time recounting all of the courses (had I not photographed them all!), but the most memorable one was a roasted suckling pig. Other flavors abounded -- eggplant and zucchini in a pot-pie type pastry shell, more meats & cheeses than I can recount, baked potato dumplings, chickpea spread, black rice, bell peppers, marmalades, and baked cheese with honey for the dessert. All of this was accented by a terrific red wine. This was also the first time that I tried mirto, a traditional Sardinian liqueur that is both a dessert wine and a digestive aid. Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy an authentic Sardinian meal experience in a cool underground atmosphere!

A takeaway container was provided, but nobody informed us that there would be an additional charge. Only after we asked for some paper to keep the fried food separate did the staff suddenly mention a €1 service charge for packing. Since we ended up packing the food ourselves, we couldn't understand what service we were actually paying for. We were also left waiting a long time after asking for the bill. Even after trying to get the staff's attention several times, nobody came, so we eventually had to pay at the counter ourselves. When we questioned the extra €1 charge, we were only told that it was the owner's policy. We respect that restaurants can have their own policies, but they should be communicated clearly from the beginning, not after the customer has already requested takeaway. During our trip across Sardinia, this was the only restaurant that charged extra for takeaway packaging, and unfortunately it left a negative impression. Better communication and more attentive service would make a big difference.
