All were very different, but entertaining. The Dirty Dime involved several different acts, but one really stood out. The act involved a performer and a pole. It was the most physically demanding performance of the night, and her athleticism was very impressive. This was not some cheesy strip club pole act, but more a display of the performer's strength. I was amazed at what she was able to do. Other acts involved a Silence of the Lambs act, fire dancing, sword play and even a special birthday surprise for lucky birthday boys and girls. Another great part of the show was the host Ben Wisdom. His quick witted responses to hecklers, and humorous style of commentary was much appreciated. If you are a fan of burlesque, or have never been to a show, check out the Dirty Dime Peepshow. I think you'll enjoy it. Note: As others have mentioned, come early if you want a seat. The venue was very crowded and smokey.

A couple girls were off putting by coming up and immediately asking for a "VIP" room visit. Meh. Talk for a little bit before closing in on the sale, ladies. The VIP area was dark, small, cramped, and uncomfortable. As much fun as I had, I won't be wasting my time back there again. Personally, I like to be able to see the girl in my space. If I wanted to have lights out fun, I'd be with my wife. The single stage was large but I noticed the girls throwing money at each other more than the clients. I got the distinct impression they gave each other the same money from one girl to the next. Perhaps it was meant to encourage men to tipping more, it accomplished the opposite for me. The club was fairly full but it looked more like a group of boyfriends and employees throwing the same $50 dollars around than interested gentlemen. Even though I wasn't impressed with the game I perceived being played, I had fun. Some of the girls showed real talent on the pole. Too many fake boobs for my preference, but at least they were done well. I'd suggest lowering the stage and having the chairs sitting around the stage from a slightly more eye level (chest level) experience. Get the girls performing to interact more with the tippers, and stop the making it rain toss from employees. (It was silly and I'd never throw money at a girl not performing for me.) Overall, the club was a high 3, but I'm leaving a 4 stars due to Covid and the lack of anything else.

i like visions a lot. it's the anti-bourbon street strip club where the girls aren't junkies and…read morethe management isn't pimping them. i often go in the afternoons (friday or saturday) and look for a specific dancer (long black hair, big blue eyes, huge tattoo down her left side) who is as great a conversationalist at the seat next to you as she is dancing on the stage. and there IS a stage. with mirrors and poles in between the two bars which also serve as platforms for the girls to dance upon (as others have mentioned). the stage/bar setup is and interesting being a fan of the out-of-the-ordinary, i like it. i also like that this is a "locals" club. no drunken tourists and college spring break frat boys. the second time i visited, the bartender, joe, remembered me. same with the doorman. it's that kind of attention and attitude that makes me return. another good thing is that the club isn't filled with oversized t-shirt wearing thugs staring at the girls, texting bullshit to their dope customers, and not tipping because when the girl dances over to you at the bar, you have to give her a buck or two or you'll get kicked out. there are no booths or tables. it's a slick way to make money and if you're in a boobie bar, you shouldn't have any complaints about it, because that's what you're supposed to be there for. as a former employee of strip clubs, nothing gets the girls and staff more upset than guys who just sit and stare and nurse one warm beer. visions is a bit more lively than that. then there are the dance, vip and party rooms. recently the club changed some rules and prices for these services and without going into detail, i like it. from what i can tell, the girls make more money and dancers with money are happy dancers. (laughing!) finally, i went on my birthday and got five free drinks. seriously. five. its not really free because you ought to tip well, but sheesh, three bucks a beer at a boobie bar where strippers are kissing your cheeks and rubbing your freshly shaved head with their boobies? what's not to like? "a round for each of these lovely ladies, joe!" i've visited all the different rooms, all with the same dancer (mentioned above), and always get what i pay for and then some. having visited strip clubs from los angeles to tampa and phoenix to houston, it's easy to say visions is my favorite. for local new orleanians, it's worth the drive east over the high rise for these reasons and more.

The drinks were reasonably priced but the waitress returning every few months felt at a tad high pressure. The girls were certainly attractive but their energy was very low. The dancing and my one lap dance felt very compulsory. The dancer I was really interested in was just on the other side of drunk and simply couldn't hold a decent conversation. Talking to drunk women can be rather annoying so I moved on. Which was too bad as she was super my type and several hundred dollars that would have been hers remained in my pocket. My wife and I didn't have a bad time here. But, we didn't have an unbridled good time either. Your mileage may vary but our experience was incredibly average.

My partner paid for the club's entry fee, so I honestly can't say much on their prices. I was just so intrigued by what took place behind the doors of a spot I was once too nervous to walk into. Upon entering, I saw a few people sitting around a stage where a dancer was performing. The music was loud, clear, and lively enough to dance along to. However, it was tough to be excited when the dancer herself didn't look happy to be there. A majority of the dancers were disengaged with the audience, using tricks to keep focus on their routines (e.g lip-syncing the words). I don't judge them for that- who knows what awful guests they've dealt with- but seeing a series of dancers get on stage with empty expressions and low effort stunts made me sink into the dark reality of these careers. In no time, I found myself longing to take each of them far away from this club and from Bourbon Street, and hide them away from prying eyes. It was because of this that I needed to walk away at several points. I had a couple drinks at the bar, and it tasted exactly like sparkling water with a hint of cherry- the flavor just out of tongue's reach. I also went to their restroom, which was incredibly cramped; there were two guests arguing in there, and I awkwardly had to squeeze myself behind them just to get into a stall. Fortunately, the night got a lot better after my final bathroom break. When I approached my partner who had been sitting in his seat, he handed me a $50 and said, "Go tip that girl." There was a new dancer on stage: petite, short dark brown hair, and most of all- happy. At least, she seemed happy. She was the only girl who made eye contact with the audience, displayed epic moves, and smiled throughout. I gave her the tip, and she giddily invited me to stay longer for a private dance. While I won't get into specifics, I will say that she was an excellent dancer and an even more wonderful conversationalist. I hoped my efforts to connect- even for those few minutes- were enough to show that I was grateful for her courage in doing this for a living. Maybe I'm too soft-hearted for clubs like these, but still, it was a night I'll remember for the rest of my life. While most of the performers looked disinterested, the drinks weren't great, and the bathrooms cramped, it was all worth it just to see that one great performance on my special day.

After some proper exploring of the rest of Bourbon and French Quarter, we were not ready to call it quits yet and found the strip clubs were still open..well then, bring on the bar and the gorgeous ladies! In a female strip club I take my role as crowd enthusiasm enforcer very seriously. I am there to offer the talented and beautiful performers over the top applause, compliments, and encouraging energy. With my body positive and empowering "you gorgeous girl" vibe I hope to offer a little respite from the usual clientele just giving that oh so creepy awkward stare from the corner. Every performer we saw here was over the top gorgeous with incredible athletic talent and impressive agility. It was so much fun how interactive many of them were. They complimented me back while they were on stage, admired my long feather lashes or costume, and performed challenging dance tricks with the patrons gathered around the stage. I liked the overall set up of the room with the different stages, comfy chairs, and bar in the back. I made friends with several other people sitting next to me watching the performers and was happy to see them get into the spirit of respectfully applauding the talent of the ladies performing. Drinks were good and everyone I met here was incredibly nice. As the night came to a close the only thing I wanted that this place didn't have was fries. When the call for fries became too powerful I had to finally call it quits, say goodbye to the lovely dancers, and head off in search for a delicious 3 am Ash Wednesday snacka. This place would be unstoppable with fries..seriously.
