Although I had a rear side room, so no view of the street, I was very happy with it. The windows were able to open to the other building however you could have coffee by the window and the room was incredibly private. The blackout curtains were a game changer too! I slept peacefully each night and although the rooms aren't large, they use every inch of the space and was very well planned out. The breakfast was actually one of my favorite parts about being here. You are able to have breakfast in your room or downstairs in the breakfast room. The breakfast rooms decor was lovely and I looked forward to my breakfast every morning! Highly recommend, the staff is lovely and the hotel is clean and my favorite small hotel I have stayed at thus far in Paris. The location is awesome, there are many places to eat and shop (must go vintage shopping while in the area as well).

We had a double room with a small balcony that faced the street. It was perfect in every way. The employees were so kind and helpful and spoke beautiful English to our sad French (but we tried!). We did 4 days in Paris and 4 days in the Loire Valley, returning to Paris for our last night. After staying here during the first part of our trip, I cancelled our 2nd Paris hotel and rebooked this one for our last night. It was that perfect. Which was convenient. Check-in was fine. We were on the third floor, and they have a lift!. Lift holds 1 person with luggage or two without. No, I'm not kidding. We were three with luggage. I got some exercise using the stairs several times. The room was very small. The extra bed was not much more than a cot (steel frame with wood slats), and not very comfortable. That was disappointing and is partially why I can't go to four stars here. Even a basic rollaway bed would have been better. I used the bedspreads to augment the padding to make it more comfortable. The ceiling fan spun the wrong way, and was incredibly noisy. So we didn't use it. They floor fan was OK. There is no A/C, so if it's really hot the rooms could get uncomfortable. Fortunately it was moderate while we were here. There is no fridge or microwave in the room, and the breakfast is what we would call "Continental". Not worth the cost, IMO. Better to wander a few blocks and get some better food. Staff friendly and helpful. Location seems good (Latin Quarter near Notre Dame). I would stay here again with just two of us, but not any more than that. The extra bed is terrible, and you still have to pay for it. One peculiar note...if you get a Yelp check-in coupon don't be surprised if they don't know anything about it. They claim they didn't authorize it. They honored it anyway, but it seems weird such a coupon would pop up and they don't know about it. Getting to CDG airport is about 60 euros by taxi, but we were warned the metro would be crowded and trying to use it with luggage would be challenging. So we did the taxi. But I suspect this would be true of most hotels in the heart of Paris. CDG seems to be well outside the city.

It is like a burger in a big city, you can not compare a 15$ Huntsmans burger with two cheeses, hickory smoked bacon and fresh baked bread to a Dicks Deluxe. This is just not fare. So with this hotel, no it is not the George V, but for what it is, it does really well. The only thing I thought was funny was they do not let you book by phone, it has to be done online. Okay, this is not a big deal but for my grandparents it would be a deal breaker.

The properties particularly the charm and character ones are excellent and, importantly, look either exactly like they do on the website or better. The facilities and breakfasts are unfailingly good (sometimes spectacularly so) and the hosts are like a welcoming family or friends. As well as the accommodation you get such precious additional things as local knowledge of the area you're staying in, where to go, where to eat etc plus any amount of interesting conversation. Why stay in faceless, interchangeable hotels when you can get more for less this way superb value for money. Our stay at one the Good Morning Paris clients homes has officially left me with a bad taste in my mouth and negative view of Paris. What a terrible experience. DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY!!!!! Firstly calling this a B&B is misleading. I definitely do not classify sleeping in the room right next door to the owners and having to cross the corridor to use the bathroom, a b&b. This is a homestay through and through. In addition rules about when I can and cannot shower and talk is something I have never experienced in the 5 years I have been travelling the globe. At EUR 164.00 for 2 nights, I think the owners need to reconsider whether they truly want people in their home. In addition, the towels were so old they were hard. The pillows were huge, more like decorative pillows than ones to sleep on and our closet, although a good size had the owners belongings hanging in it!!!! And of course, when we left and asked for a refund, the agency took the side of their client and said we should respect their wishes. Needless to say, they refused to refund us for the night we didnt stay there. In summary, if you are an individual/couple who doesnt want to be asleep by 9pm, STAY AWAY!!!
