La Moda is located in the convention center and is at opposite end from where the hotel is located.
It took us a bit to actually come and try the food here because honestly, most nights we couldn't be bothered to walk the distance and we were just exhausted from enjoying the sun!
We were able to come here twice during our stay and each time had the same issues, just like the hotel nobody speaks English and that makes it hard to impossible to order drinks as there is no drink menu, just the alcohols. I actually never been anywhere on my travels that didn't have some sort of drink menu... so good luck on trying to get a Long Island! Lol
The food seems to come from elsewhere on the property, there must be a central kitchen, as most foods seem to be the exact same that you can get elsewhere in the hotel and a lot of items just seem to be reheated, unless you get the nachos or pizza as there is a pizza oven.
The flatbread pizza was okay as well as the ribs. We also got a fun dessert that had a piece of chocolate cake on top of chocolate milk! We didn't even know what exactly is was when ordering because they only had the Spanish dessert menu!
Maybe next year, if the hotel continues to be all inclusive and apart of sunwing's trips that they will invest in some people who do speak English to make things easier on everyone! read more
