Delicious, Delicious, Delicious!!! Lovely ambiance and excellent service. We went for dinner at approximately 7:30 and were quickly seated. Beautiful decor in a nice cozy setting. We started with the harissa soup that was very delicious. Slow cooked lamb with lentils in a delicious stew. Loved that they served the soup with lemon. The fresh bread was delicious dipped in the soup. For dinner had both chicken almond prune, chicken olive lemon and a lamb eggplant. All three where delicious! My favorite was the chicken prune almond. Comes with a healthy serving of couscous. Larger serving, could defiantly serve 2. Try the mint tea it's so refreshing!

Moroccan mint tea, Loukoum and an apple hookah

This café is attached to Paris grand mosque, it offers a truly exotic oriental experience in the middle of Paris. The architecture and decor is authentic, I didn't try the food, but the mint tea and pastries are pretty good (very sweet). If you are a hookah aficionado (called Shisha here) or care to try it for the first time this is a good spot for that, they offer only one flavor; apple, but it's pretty good, and the atmosphere is just right for a hookah.

Over the years I have come here quite a few times, and this was my latest trip after a 13 year absence. I used to love the place. It went from being a hidden gem to a tourist ridden hot spot. Seating is way more cramped - to accommodate all the new comers. Service is terrible. France is not known for customer service, but here they could really give a shit if you are seated, eating, coming, or going. They just don't care. After seating ourselves in the dining area, we waited 30 min. No one helped us so I flagged the waiter down and asked for a menu. Then we waited another 20 min to order - again, had to flag down a waiter. Food took even longer than that. The food itself has declined as well. The pastille was good. We also cous cous royal. It was supposed to come with a sampling of all the meats. They forgot the chicken, over cooked the kafta kabob to where it was way too dry, and they way undercooked the lamb chop. The broth also needed salt. The saving grace is still the mint tea, and now the shisha.

This place had the best couscous! So happy my friend recommended this place. The couscous was delicious and very flavorful. The merguez were perfect. I was looking for an awesome meal to take after a few days in Paris to scratch the couscous itch and this place did it for sure! Highly recommended. I even got seated with an incomplete party, and the mint tea was obviously also pretty awesome. Love how they pour it in front of you.

My mother and I were so delighted by the sights and especially the flavorful food we enjoyed here. The fruit juices were a refreshing way to wash down couscous! I really loved the vegetables in broth. I don't remember exactly what else we had. We went in November and it was chilly! The courtyard area was blocked off with a thick plastic curtain. When I return to paris this is on my list!!!

kind of weird that the reviews for the restaurant and the sauna are mixed in together. although perhaps in the same building it can confuse people as far as reviews go. I'll be reviewing the restaurant which is definitely NOT "€"!!!!!!!!!!! but at least €€. it's one of the most expensive Moroccan food i've had. tried the chicken pastry with powdered sugar. it was good and it had pine nuts. it was like 12€. it is a standout dish. also, i split a plate of couscous - combination of meats. it was like 22€ for that. the cous cous was the smallest i have tried and came with a broth with vegetables to accompany it. the meat sampler was great as well, although the lamb chops weren't impressive. the mint tea was quite good and the interior is beautiful.

My cousin and I came here because we missed Moroccan cuisine and arabic café ambience. This is a big mosque but behind it there is a very big café and sitting area (indoors and outdoors/terrace/garden). It is such a beautiful café and we had a great time sitting in the terrace surrounded by many people who are enjoying either their shisha, Moroccan mint tea or having a tagine. Beautiful atmosphere, colourful, authentic decor, typical Moroccan interior design and great service! Definitely come here for a wonderful oriental experience :)

Upon arriving, I waited at the front for a few minutes before anybody even acknowledged me, once we sat down we waited another 10 minutes to even get a menu. They don't have enough menus, so we had to wait for the table next to us to finish with the menu before the waiter handed us their menus. Once we chose what we wanted, we waited another 5-10 minutes before we had to flag a waiter to take our order. We also didn't get any water/drinks for about half an hour after sitting down. The restaurant smells like sweat...and they do NOT give free water at all. The room is TOO loud, there's loud music, loud bar sounds and just overall loud general noises. Also the hostess wearing black yelled at multiple waiters a few times in front of guests so that was weird... Anyways, on to the food..... Portions are TOO small, ridiculously overpriced. The food didn't come out at the same time, one of six of us nearly finished her food before the rest of us got anything. The table besides us, had 5, and only 2 received their food and finished it completely before the other 3 received their food. We ordered 2 of the same plate, and only one came. Unfortunately for me I was the odd one out waiting another 14 minutes for my plate. The only positive, the food was actually good. It wasn't amazing, but it was good, except one of my kafta's was raw. They also offered us tea in the end to compensate for the awful service, just for them to never give it. Overall, congrats to this restaurant! This takes the cake as the WORST restaurant I've ever been to. Dreadful service and ambiance. Please come here if you want to lose your mind.

My friend got the sirloin however she was slightly disappointed in the lack of seasoning. Regardless overall it was amazing and highly recommended. Service was awesome despite typical French being not so nice. The raspberry mojito was delicious also. If you're in Paris, no matter where, make this trip especially if you eat halal only. The vibes and music are also great. It is very busy however they are really fast and work really hard so it won't be long before you enjoy your food. Side tip: download bolt. Missing pictures…read more... Quality/Quantity - Just follow the line. Just look for the longest and busiest line and it will be there. Actually, there are two lines, one for take away (on the left) and one for sit down. Both lines are just as long, but the take away moves much faster. Fairly organized. For the take away side, an employee takes orders while you wait in line, to expedite the process. (If you are from CA, think of an In and Out burger drive thru business model). Overall the food is good and reasonably priced. And great advertising seeing everyone walk around with your "sandwiches." Ambiance - Crazy busy. Both inside and outside. But plenty of employees (again both inside and outside). Fairly organized considering the volume. Service - Good. Price - Reasonable.10-15 Euros for a pita sandwich. $11.60 to $17.50 US. On first pass, there was a line at the take-out window. When I returned to dine in, there was a rather significant line there as well. The food here is served so rapidly that I seriously doubt anyone needs to wait long as there's a constant turning of tables. Schwarma and Fallafel and whatever else we consumed here was so fresh, delicious, and satisfying that I tried coming back here again the night before leaving Paris.
