We went here for lunch on a nice day. The outdoor seating area was too hot so we relocated. The…read morestaff is very friendly here but the food is just ok.
Pros:
Huge portions
Good prices, except the wine
Great view of the water since it's right on the water.
Cons:
Although it's on the beach, most of the seafood is frozen and it is disclosed on the menu.
The wines are expensive compared to the quality.
They don't serve pizza at lunch, only dinner.
We started with the vegetable antipasto and the caprese salad. Some of the vegetables were dry, the whole dish needed salt and the melon was barely ripe, a little firm in the mouth. The tomatoes in the caprese were also barely ripe. There was only one spring of basil. Both of them were huge however!
We then had two pasta dishes, a gnochetto with spinach and a very tiny bit of bacon. The gnochetti were perfectly cooked, not gummy. The other was penne, cooked perfectly also. This one had pork sausage and tasted good. No Parmesan cheese was offered. An espresso after and we were on our way.
