When she returned, we were ready with our food order as well. One thing I liked was the "special" they have, for lack of a better term. For a super reasonable price, you can get a burger and a dessert/appetizer or the beer of the day for one extra euro. The burger also comes with some fries- you seriously can't go wrong. Now I was starving, but thought the beer sounded like a better idea. That day, it was a blonde. Not a ton of flavor, but satisfying when all I wanted was something to sip on throughout the meal. I got the burger with feta cheese on it, one of my favorite cheeses although I can't say I normally have it on a burger. It came out with a CRAZY thick slice (more like block) of feta on top. This was more than amazing. The fries that came with the burger could have been an entire meal on their own. They were cut thick and very potato-y, which made me happy to realize they were hardly salted. They came with what I assume was a housemate ketchup that I didn't try and some sort of aioli I think that I thought was delicious. Now I'm not sure how burgers in Europe are usually cooked, but this one was near perfect for me. I love a juicy red burger and this one was more on the medium side, but still juicy and full of flavor. The burger and fries were more than enough so if that's the route you're going, definitely get the beer rather than a dessert or appetizer. You'll have plenty of food, I promise. Overall, great meal for a good price. Although I'm sure the rest of the menu is not the same way, the burger and fries were a wonderful American meal. If that's the type of meal you're craving, this is for sure your place.

So you'll definitely need to be with people who can walk up and down stairs while holding plates- and maybe more than one plate if someone needs to hold a spot at tables. It is pricier than other brunches nearby, but it is also a novelty and part of what you're paying for is the unlimited nature of the buffet and time you will occupy the adorably decorated but limited space.

Just look at the name, the address, the pictures and how many $$$$ are at the top. But read that one in the privacy of your hotel room as if it were a guide to overcoming erectile dysfunction. I have to say, this place is the definition of a hidden gem. It's a small French tapas place off on a side street that unless you were really searching, you would probably walk by it in favor of larger restaurants. I don't know if our waiter was also the owner or the sommelier, but either way, his English was limited. Luckily, my fiancee's sister speaks French so she was able to translate the menu (to an extent). As such, this was a tapas restaurant so everything was small plates and meant to be shared. I don't remember the exact name of everything we ordered, but I remember a Pad Thai, a beef dish, smoked salmon, octopus, and a fried dish (maybe calamari, but I don't remember). The food is excellent and packed with flavor. You'd be surprised how filling these little dishes can be. If you ever come to Paris, I recommend going off the beaten path for this little piece of heaven.
