Yup, that's a weird name... Having tried & failed to get lunch Saturday at one of our regular places - so busy - we were on our way to one of our favourites when we saw this place on the corner...and knowing we would get ice-cream at Pozzetto round the corner afterwards (as ever) we went in Jam packed, no room...as we left, a waiter said, no, there is one in the corner...so we squeezed in My partner had the quiche with sautés; I chose the brochette of beef (well done, please) and we had a 50cl of St Amour Service a little slow, but it was busy The food was good...we had chosen from the day's slate but there was plenty of choice on the menu. The sauce piquant was nice but I would have preferred it warm not cold Biggest issue was the very small table and fitting the above + water carafe & glasses on it was difficult...other tables were larger We will add this to our list & try other menu choices another day read more

What an inviting cafe and wonderful find while exploring the boutiques in Marais. The vintage decor and the pastel colors instantly caught my attention. It is unclear, but it seems like a nice little local spot. The customers did not strike me as tourists. The service was very slow. However, this is the type of cafe that you don't mind taking your time in. Something about the place makes you feel relaxed. It was not crowded inside, however, the outside seats were taken. I went midday on a Friday. The food is average. But average in a good way. The same way you would feel about a typical restaurant chain place. Nothing over the top, but you still leave pretty satisfied. I ordered the Croque Madam - openfaced ham, egg, and cheese which came with a side salad and potatoes/fries. It was a very decent lunch on a very nice day. The place is not pricey so it is a great value. read more

Love this place. We stopped by early in the day for a coffee. The service was quick and friendly and the coffee was good too. We noticed the beautiful salads then. After shopping for hours we came back for salad and beer. We had the Love Boat with salmon and the INCA with quinoa and lentils . Both were excellent. They have Hoegaarden and Paulaner October fest on tap. Very fresh. The place feels like 50's diner meets french neighborhood. Sit inside or out! read more

Just because it reminds me of my after-high-school-cafés, Le Pick Clops is my favorite café in Paris ! In the heart of Le Marais, at the corner of Rue du Roi de Sicille et Rue Vieille du Temple, what makes that place nice is that you can observe and spot the new it-girls passing byand some actors living in the area.This definitely a good place to grab an Espresso or a Monaco after hours of shopping. But even though I've spend superb quality time with my friends there, it was only because I was with my friends... The food is an average okay, they serve bagels, salads, sandwiches and some specials that are too pricey for the quality and quantity. Also, the staff is not very pleasant I have to say. Go there only to get a drink or have a coffee break, that's it ! read more

Stumbled upon this place for lunch! We were not disappointed. All three of us got hamburgers- they came with fried potatoes and salad. Delicious! They have nice daily food and drink specials as well. The place was eccentric-ly decorated and was clean! Their drink menu was impressive and extensive as well. Staff was very friendly and was able to communicate well with us (we do not know much French). Overall, definitely worth stopping in if you are in the area. read more

The friendly corner of Rue du Roi de Sicile and Rue Vieille du Temple has an even friendlier looking cafe/bar/diner or whatever you want to call it. This trendy vintage looking eatery will attract you instantly, so it is a sure win in terms of its superficial attributes. The food is average at best, especially given the location city. That having said there are good brunch options: bagels with cream cheese, eggs, meat platters, etc. One of my favourite is the large steak tartare portion, deliciously mustardy and very filling. Le Pick Clops is priced alright, nothing crazy when compared to the rest of Paris. The service isn't stellar, but given how busy this place is they're not unreasonably hostile. So I wouldn't penalise them on the service front. Open early in the morning, and stays open pretty late in the evening. So you can get your hangover fix early in the morning or get hangover immunised late at night after you've had too much to drink, and that is what makes it a perfect fit for the Marais. read more

A great corner for people-watching on Roi de Sicile. But the food is terrible and the service even worse. They definitely subscribe to "give them a large plate, then they won't notice the poor quality of the food". But, to be fair, this place is clearly not about the eats. Sit back, have a coffee or a cocktail, and watch the world go by. read more

All I wanted for breakfast was eggs and I finally got some. While I quite like a good pastry, and a French one at that, there are only so many carbs you can have at breakfast. So glad this place was open early on Saturday morning. Nice local place a few minutes walk from our hotel. read more

After walking around with friends we decided to grab something to eat before heading back home and randomly chose to step inside. We were seated and given menus right away. After being informed that they were not serving sandwiches for the day (which were the cheapest options on the menu at about 4 euros), my friend and I decided to split a plate of fries/potatoes and grab a cheap baguette later on. The waiter came to take our order and another friend ordered a Croque Madame and a coffee, and we asked for the fries. After asking for water (as opposed to ordering drinks on the side), the waiter said, "Wow! What a great table!" with a half smile and walked away. I couldn't tell if it was some kind of French humor, but it felt rude and unnecessary. I understand that we didn't order much at all, but at least we weren't sitting there just taking up space and drinking their water. When the Croque Madame came, the egg wasn't runny, but my friend still enjoyed her meal. The potatoes were cooked really nicely and they paired well with the ketchup (sorry, I'm American) and mustard given to us! It was worth it in the end since I only ended up paying 2 euros for a decent amount of food, but I don't think I will be returning to this restaurant. I guess that even if the waiter didn't have an attitude, it still would've been a mediocre place. Side note: They gave the couple sitting next to us a basket of bread but didn't give us one. Perhaps it was because they were carrying huge shopping bags from Michael Kors, etc., but it was kind of ridiculous to not receive the same treatment. read more

Great little Parisian cafe in the heart of Le Marais. We sat outside and enjoyed the Parisenne Salad and Burger with Frites. The staff were helpful with our poor french language skills and made it a memorable experience. Great place to grab lunch read more
