I went there twice and loved every second of it. Staffs are nice and knowledgeable. I asked my stylist to do whatever she thinks suits me and she delivered! Giovanna, did my eyelashes and she was great! Its my the first time going here for that, it took an hr, chair is okay but my legs was dangling the whole time and was very uncomfortable. I should have said something but did not! (My fault!) I only got a haircut but she took her time which I love! The place and vibe is nice. Only thing I don't like is the parking. Parking is little (unless they have in the back?) but I have been parking in the front. But overall it was a great experience! read more

I am up visiting the area from Virginia. I used to live around here but moved a few years ago. I always try to get my hair done when I visit NY because I don't trust many stylists where I live. Today I visited La Petite and I truly enjoyed the experience. I called first thing in the morning to see if there was any openings for a cut and color. They were able to schedule me before noon. I walked in and Elaine greeted me by name. Such a nice gesture. She did my consult and she listened to my concerns and gave great suggestions. Elaine was sweet, efficient and professional. My hair looks fantastic! I really felt like a million bucks walking out. The salon atmosphere was really nice too. The other stylist who I believe is the owner was very personable as well and I loved that she seemed to know everyone that came in on a personal level. I wanted to write a follow up on these ladies at this salon. My mother absolutely loves them and the salon. She now has moved out of the area and they were all sad to say goodbye. These ladies went above and beyond to find my mother a new salon in her new area. This is perhaps the 4th or 5th visit to see Lia. I LOVE her! It took a bit to get to know her and her style. She's great! She listens to your concerns and she fights you if you want to cut your hair, like I did. I like that! I don't want a yes me to death person. I want the honest truth. So I cut about 6 inches and colored my grey and did highlights. It looks amazing and feels amazing. The girls there like Gigi her sister, make you feel as comfy as possible with a cup of capuccino if you like. The place always looks immaculate! It smells good too with her air diffuser. Crystal (I think?) colored my hair and did a horrible job. I know she might be really good at doing hair styling or cuts or something else but she was way too inexperienced when I got my hair colored. This was a year ago but just now I decided to post this review since my friends keep asking me to. I chose this place because I read good reviews but I can tell that this place is a little outdated on latest hair fashion trends. Honestly, I think the stylist knew she couldn't do what I asked her but tried anyway and ended up giving me the worst hair color I've ever paid for. I asked her for the traditional modern looking balayage, I printed a picture, showed her pics online and she still failed to grasp what I wanted. I knew something was wrong when she colored the whole thing and didn't start by choosing strands to make my hair melt into a balayage but just straight into another color. She would grab whole chunks of hair and foil them, not strands or a part, my whole hair. It looked like a cheap ombré more than anything like the picture. After she was done I had the top of my head black and the bottom was yellow blonde, NO in between. I obviously asked her to fix it and she tried to create the in between color but at the end of the day she had already colored the whole thing so I never had those balayage highlights I wanted. The owner was annoyed when the hair was colored, I don't know if at me for asking her to fix it or at her own colorist. They both knew it was all wrong so they never even posted a pic of my hair to their social media lol and they did take a few. My hair ended up looking colored ok after a style and blow out but still NOtHING like what I wanted. I'm sure this was not only a horrible experience for me but for the stylist too. I added a pic of what it looked like a few months later, I repeat this isn't what it looked like when I just got it done obviously, but this is the reason why I decided to post this. Whatever tint they used turn into a horrible brassy orange color. The whole experience was awful and became worse months later. The only upside is that they do try to make you feel comfortable and give you good coffee and treats. They did try to fix the color. That's it. All this for the price of $200. read more

I wanted a Salon closer to home so I tried La Petite Salon. Katie cut my hair twice pre-COVID. She did a great job. I was very excited to find a new Salon. However, my first haircut post COVID was awful. I believe the girl was new to the Salon. She butchered my hair ,uneven layers. I normally wouldn't make a big deal, but every time I look in the mirror I get upset. All she talked about was products I should use. Instead of trying to sell me products, she should have listened to my request for NO Layers. I will probably try the Salon again because my initial experiences were good. read more

Had my hair done today by Lia, and it is nothing short of wonderful. She is super friendly, and had great advice on what to do (and not) with my hair. Decor is super clean and comfy, and it has a boutique feel. The cost for services was way cheaper than several other salons that I have frequented. I had a hair cut, highlight and glaze- total cost was $145.00. That included a 20% discount off the highest cost service which is for first time customers. Will definitely be going back. I came looking for a new salon to try out and figured I would try la petite. The salon in general is very clean, modern, chic, and gives a great vibe. I did have to wait a while because they were running behind but they made sure I was comfortable and apologized. We are all human so it didn't really bother me and I was in no rush. Lia did the balayage in my hair and she was so friendly, and professional. Crystal did the layers and the rest of my hair cut. She also did a fantastic job and was also very professional. In general all the ladies who work here are very welcoming and warm. I had a great experience and my hair looks fabulous. I have to say it is the best it has ever looked. I went to this hair salon and got a haircut from Crystal. I asked for it to be layered and shaped and one inch off the ends. She took 3 inches off and did not layer it at all. She angled it and I look like a little girl. It was one of the worst cuts I have had in a long time. I looked on the ground to see how much hair was there and it was at least 4 inches! I was mortified. I would not recommend this salon to anyone as they are very inexperienced. read more

Was really, really impressed by the décor, cleanliness and ambiance of the salon. It's small, but perfectly appointed. The shampoo station chairs are incredibly comfortable!
