We did a marble counter and backsplash for our kitchen. They had a great selection of stones which originally drew us to the storefront and lot. Counter top was installed and looked nice, a few years later I had a stain or blemish appear. I called 4-5 times and each time was told a technician would call me back. I never got a call back and when I called them again, I got the same story. I was told they are very busy etc., and was basically being totally ignored. All I wanted was for someone to look at it and make a recommendation as to what (if anything) can be done. They have absolutely the worst customer support and apparently do not even care. They do a lot of work for Toll Brothers, so they are making enough money to not have to worry about the end consumer. Stay away! read more

Just had a granite vanity top installed and couldn't be more pleased. The most difficult part of this whole experience was deciding between all of the different stone options available. I recently posted a review and was asked to delete it off of the site by the "La Pietra" Owner. I deleted my post in knowing that the company would then show us their customer service in full effect. This did not happen. We made arrangements for "La Pietra" to fix their mistakes (fill in the Grout when they mis measured our countertops) They then told us they would be at our house between the hours of 8am-9am. My husband and I both work and we have a 6 month old. We made sure one of us took off from work and were home during that time and no one showed up. When my husband called La Pietra at 9:30am, He was told that "someone was on their way". Ten minutes later, a call was made back to my husband saying that "The team member was still working on another project and can't come to your house". This was a HUGE inconvenience to our family. My husband and I lost Money AND time! After emailing the team and looking for a convenient time for them to come to our house, we were told that they would come to our house on the following Wednesday between 1pm-3pm. As we were having lunch and i was feeding my 6 month old, we received a knock on the door from La Pietra at 12:15pm. No call was made, and they were early. We had to stop what we were doing and make the workplace clear for the job. We will NOT be referring this company to anybody in the future. read more

My experience with La Pietra was terrific and easy. As this was the first real work I've had done, they helped make it go smoothly. The selection of stone is vast and the different types, the pros and cons of different stones, was well explained. Fabio and Junior were friendly, helpful, and patient, as were all other staff. Any questions or minor issues once installed were addressed readily. The kitchen counter is beautiful! I was impressed with their follow up and responsiveness even after all the work was completed. La Pietra did a gorgeous and professional installation in my kitchen. Dealing with them was a pleasure. The true mark of a company that is worth recommending is what kind of customer service you get when things don't go perfectly. But in my case, even with a few glitches (wrong tile delivered from the manufacturer, contractor's installation mistake), Fabio and his team worked with me until it was right. Their communication was clear and timely, the resolution was fair. Hearing a friend's horror story (she worked with someone else for her kitchen countertops) I realized how overdue this positive review was. I get tons of compliments, and would work with them again. Horrible !!! Installed on my peninsula a dull dirty looking piece right as a focal point !! Telling me it's character And many people have it in their house like this. They will not do anything for me and told me it is what it is. They said maybe they can polish it. I built with Toll Brothers and barely had a say and I am very upset. I saw a sample at Toll Brothers design studio that was polished and sparkling and didn't have anything like what my peninsula looks like in it. Was treated rude and unprofessional when he came out to inspect my complaint. There are also 3 yellow stains on my island that I asked please do not have it on my island, they put stickers to show where they were and to "try" and hide them and when I moved in, where are they right on my Island where I cannot hide them ! I would never use them on my own. They didn't explain that I could of denied the Slab and now they want to say it is my problem! As for the original complaint Of the dull spots, I never got to see that slab so I had no idea!! Brand new build house and this is the quality I received! I'm severely disappointed! Only gave a star bc has no choice otherwise it would of been none. read more
