I ordered the meal deal here: appetizer, entree, and dessert for €25. The fish soup for the appetizer was... interesting and not really to my taste. The entree was an octopus/ squid dish of some kind; I'm not quite sure what it was because my knowledge of French is nonexistent and there's only so much google translating/ dictionary-ing before you give up and guess your order. It was a little bit of a disappointment that the food was so, "meh".. was also a little odd that when it got dark, the strobe lights came on. (Is this a European thing?) Anyhow, the service was good and the server very attentive. The location was also nice as it was close to the harbor, but not so close that I was eating overlooking the ocean. The food is AMAZING. Every single thing. Seriously. And the service is great, too! Even the chef came out to make sure we enjoyed our meals. It was a perfect experience for 4 adults and 2 teens who were starving at 8:30 on a Friday night - especially when many places turned us away. My mother, sister and I are visiting from the US. We tried to eat at this restaurant and were treated very poorly. The location is lovely and the food looked wonderful but they clearly did not want Americans there. We were seated and then ignored for over 30 minutes without a greeting or menus. When my sister very kindly asked for a menu in French the waitress said that she did not understand and then after we repeated the request she rolled her eyes and corrected our pronunciation. Honestly we did not come here as demanding and pushy Americans, we were very patient and kind knowing we are in the south of France and that things here are at a slower pace. We accept that we are tourists and genuinely want to experience the culture. We ended up leaving and going to the restaurant next door where we were treated very kindly and served immediately.
