One of the best meals I had in La Ciotat.

Juste excellent ! Pour notre première fois, nous nous y sommes pris trop tard, nous étions à l'intérieur. Concernant le menu, c'était un sans faute de l'entrée au dessert. Les prix sont encore raisonnables (36 € le menu le soir). Restaurant conseillé par le guide Michelin. Belle découverte. It can be very overwhelming to walk into an establishment not knowing the language but the owner Thoma (hope I'm spelling his name right) was so warm, welcoming and very patient with us. He took the time to explain every dish to us and joked around with the group often making the night exceptional. We had a group of 7 without reservations (a no no for small restaurants in France) but we crossed our fingers and tried to get a spot anyways. So glad we did! The menu changes twice daily depending on what's fresh. So lunch and dinner are different - every day. Everything was creative and delicious. We agreed later that the duck was the best we had while in France. You will have a fabulous time here. Just be sure to get reservations so you don't miss out!

The bun was much more fresh, although the vermicelli noodles were a bit over cooked. Tofu curry had the most delicious sauce! The tofu was a little mealy, but otherwise the dish was perfect. The waiter was really accommodating for us and brought little bowls for us to share. Prices were a little high for the quality, but was to be expected in this touristy area.
