My wife and I visited La Pizca de Sal for lunch and ordered the 19.50 Euro per person menu of the day that included three starters, Valencian Paella, and a dessert or coffee. The first starter was a Crispy Goat Cheese Salad with Lettuce, Walnuts, Raisins, Peach, Tomato and Jam. The salad was filled with a variety of flavors and textures: creamy goat cheese, crisp lettuce, crunchy walnuts, sweet fruits and jam, and juicy tomatoes. Next were Grilled Squid Rings. These tender pieces of squid were topped with a flavorful lemon and spice infused marinade. The last starter was a Potato Timbale with Burgos Blood Sausage, Caramelized Apple and Braised Onion. This dish was savory and flavorful. The apples were a nice compliment to the seasoned blood sausage. Finally we had the Valencian Paella. The paella was delicious and filled with savory rice, tender chicken and green beans. Overall, the meal was enjoyable and filling. read more
