    Cold soup

Great little place! Waitress spoke English with me. Communicated without problem! English menu was available. Food was very good, especially tapas! Paella was just normal to us, didn't give us a surprise. Sangria was very good. Cold soup was delicious, the mussels were fat and yummy. But note! They said they open at 17:30 for dinner.... So not true!! We waited till 20:00 from 19:00!!! But hey that's Spain! Be aware!!

Another great example of fantastic Spanish cuisine and kindness. I enjoyed a wonder gazpacho then valencian paella, highlighted with snails and rabbit. I felt a it guilty eating my furry friend, but alas when in Valencia... I was offered gratis a apertif, which I had to refuse because I do not drink alcohol. The gesture was warmly appreciated however. I recommend eating your paella for lunch as it is quite heavy.

Extremely cozy, tucked away restaurant in a nice part of Valencia. Our server was incredibly friendly and warm. The place was packed at around 10 pm on a Saturday night, but luckily we got a table right away. We had the best patatas bravas I've ever had (bomb garlic aoili) a tosta with shrimp and squid, and the seafood Paella (when in Valencia, right?) and an awesome bottle of wine. Everything was great, a perfect Valencian meal. Finished off with a delicous apple dessert.

Nice neighbourhood away from the tourist traps of the cathedral square. Lovely atmosphere and decorations. The waitress put us on the balcony. I don't know if it was because we were early (8:30pm) or if it was just a quiet night and there was only one waitress. This meant service was really slow which let everything down a bit. We ordered patatas bravas (€4) while we waited for our seafood paella (€14 per person) which is made fresh to order. The food was beautiful and the paella had so much seafood in it! A little pricey but we'll worth the quality and quantity! The waitress gave us a complimentary dessert wine to finish the meal. I give it 4 stars because of the slow service and a little pricey for our budget but worth the visit!

Very good paella! Had the prawns appetizer and it was also good. Definitely visit this spot when in Valencia.

After touring in old town Valencia- we visited this long established, well rated restaurant and we…read morewere not disappointed. We started with the Fish and seafood soup, which was fine. For our entree we shared a large Seafood paella- which was delicious. We had white wine and for dessert we had Flan. A nice dining experience to which I would return.

A Food Tour Guide advised to eat restaurant Paella for lunch. If it is served for dinner, more…read morethan likely it isn't fresh. This all made sense as the highly rated and reputable Paella restaurants were open from 1-4:00 or so. One thing for sure make your reservations before you get to Valencia. We were lucky and got a table at 3 a day before. Smaller/cozy spot and looked like they had a 2nd level. We started with a Sangria and a Majou. For appetizers, it was the recommended Gambas with Chili Aoili-exquisite -I was really concerned that we couldn't get any better after this. The Bread with Aoli and olives was also tasty. Paella Valenciana (with Rabbit/Chicken) is the authentic one and has to be ordered a day in advance. We ended up ordering the Seafood (de Marisco) Paella which can be ordered same day. Filled with all types of seafood-delicious! Table next to us ordered the one with Lobster which looked like a winner also. Service was excellent! With the two sisters who were Owners helping with our table. They've been around since 1951. Would highly recommend!
