Obviously not expired. Also they claim on the website there is the rules and regulations about a rain check, I have searched, and found nothing. Captain Joe, feel free to show where they are. None of this behavior is a surprise after what they have previously done. I also have the FULL texts between myself and the "owner" and will also share them. Stay away from this business, as other reviewers have shares, their "rules and regulations" change according to the days mood. Don't get stuck in the middle of it. As I said, crooks, and now liars... I read a few other peoples reviews, and saw Captain Joe's response claiming to require a merchants USCG licensed captain. I looked on their website where they state the exact opposite. The day of our reservation, we were told only one engine worked and had not been working for several months. We told them we wanted to use the tube and that was the reason for getting Tiara. Nothing else was offered to us and we were all there so we went on a boat day. Overall, we had a pleasant ride but not what we had planned with a young crowd. I found these guys on Yelp and decided to call them to see if there was any last minute availability. To my surprise, they had a tour available for the following day, our last day in Miami. That same night I got a call from the owner. I was dreading answering the phone because I thought for sure it was them calling to cancel on us because of some unforeseen circumstances. But I was wrong! The owner called to let us know that he had an even better tour (one more suitable for what we were trying to do) at a much more convenient time! I really appreciate that they thought to call us and offer us the more beneficial package. I should add that the owner was super kind and helped me throughout the entire booking process. He was very patient with me while I struggled to book online. There site is super easy to navigate, I'm just not tech-savvy. When we did go out on our tour, we were given the greatest captain/instructor. Captain Sasha was so sweet and funny and knowledgeable. It was my first time snorkeling and he walked me through everything and made it all so simple. He was kind enough to take a ton of wonderful photos of my friend and me while we snorkeled. He let us take our time and enjoy ourselves and was such a pleasure. He even gave us a tour of the area which I know he did not have to do. Two months later I'm still fighting for my deposit back and still haven't seen any paperwork. Go with a legit company. I guess you get what you pay for.
