They had the electro music blaring through multiple loudspeakers and the food was average and quite expensive: The ravioli with truffled oil were extremely creamy and heavy. The chicken was average , the burger came with a mayo based sauce. The branzino was ok , cooked well but expensive at $30 ( we are at the beach after all); I would have liked a starch like rice or potatoes to make it a more complete meal The fish soup came with the usual accouterments ( toasted bread , aioli and cheese) but lacked depth I was told that the steak tartare was good The sorbets were too sweet In all a hefty bill for average food and a headache because of the music 2.5 stars( for branzino and steak tartare)

It was all that we hoped it would be and more - a family-friendly spot on a sandy beach (most around here are pebbles). The cove area that it sits on provides perfect protection from waves and wind, creating a crystal-clear shallow area extending a ways off the shore, great for even young kids to play in. There were quite a few English-speaking families which made it lots of fun for our young boys, and just bringing a bucket of sand toys was enough to keep them entertained for a full seven hours. The restaurant was wonderful, with gnocchi and ravioli (artichoke cream!) to die for. Their salads were fresh and cool, perfect for a warm day at the beach. This is one of the few places I've seen to do a dessert tray, and they sold me immediately on a delicious strawberry confection. Service at both the beach chairs and the restaurant was responsive and efficient. We could have saved by not renting four lounge chairs (our two young children, like all of the others, had no interest in sitting once they saw the sand) and towel rental wasn't cheap at 7 euro a piece, but worth it. The bathrooms, changing rooms, and showers were clean and nicely designed (although they don't provide soap or shampoo so remember to pack it). We stayed from morning to night and had an exceptional time here, and probably would even have returned had cooler cloudier weather not set in. If you're interested in a relaxing day (even as adults sans kids - there was a nice kid-free deck too) without the glitz and scene of Cannes or Nice, I can't recommend Plage Keller enough!

You have two restaurants to try, maybe more, and homes all around the place. You can get here walking, maybe thirty minutes, from Antibes, but it is easier to take a car, UBER, or taxi. The best part is the walk in the park around the Sentir. Go to Billionaires Beach for a great view and fun little cave with fire rings. Explore, relax, and get some sun!

I've traveled the world over and have met many a barkeep. This refined gentleman makes the trip worthwhile as he oversees the bar area and pours a delicious drink- all the while making interesting and polite conversation with old world elegance. If you are looking for the slick modernism of a Four Seasons or a Mandarin Oriental, La Voile D'Or is not for you. But our older and charming room with views off the sea were just what made us very sorry to leave. Each day my wife and I tumbled out of bed and down to the stunning pool area where we were greeted by Muriel, Catharine and Isabel who reserved the best chaise lounges for us to gaze at the ocean, enjoy an impeccable lunch, and slip into the sea while ordering off of the refreshing cocktail menu. Such hospitality and service is a hallmark of this gorgeous jewel on the ocean and I hope I return at every opportunity. What a treat! One downside is that the restaurant is somewhat formal - if you want to get sandwiches or other light fare for lunch, you're out of luck unless you order a salad or charcuterie plate (if dining in the restaurant). Also, the overall quality of the food is only so-so and a little below what you might expect for the price. Lastly, the beach is (just slightly) more expensive than others. However, all of this is worth it - it's by far the best place in Juan Les Pins to relax, enjoy a (relatively) cheap bottle of rose with your toes in the sand, and enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean. In Nice there are several restaurants along the coast that are beachside restaurants. I just…read morestopped by the one that was closest to where I was stay on a whim and had a lovely time. To sit in the back on couches or at tables it's free (not including price of food of course). To sit in the first row of lounge beach chairs it's 20 euros, and to sit in all the other rows of lounge beach chairs it's 16 euros. In addition, it's 5 euros to be able to use the parasol/umbrellas. This seems expensive, but once you buy you're allowed to sit out there the entire day - 20 euros for the day right at the beach front doesn't seem all that bad actually once you factor in the fact that you've drive/flown/traveled all this way just to get to Nice. Another important point is that Nice's beaches are stone pebbled and not sandy so the lounge beach chairs make a wonderful way for you to experience the beach without having terrible pain on your feet. The service was absolutely excellent. They were very quick to catch your eye if you needed something and quick to ask you for anything you might need. When I couldn't finish my meal they even brought me a plate to cover my food so that it would keep for longer. The rose (you've got to have Rose in Nice) was lovely and the truffle rigatoni was very flavorful - HUGE portions. Menus are provided in English if you need. They might give English to you automatically if they catch on that you're a tourist. Bathrooms were SO clean. They're in the back under the promenade des anglais and even have seating/resting areas and outlets to plug in/charge something.

Our service was prompt and the staff all spoke English so it made ordering very easy. I ordered the truffle rigatoni and it's one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. Very rich in flavor and large in portion size. I took the rest home since I couldn't eat all of it. My husband ordered the cheeseburger that came with fries and salad also a large portion. This place had a lot of families on a Sunday and a bunch of celebrations so be mindful if you're looking to get a nice quiet meal by the sea. If you're looking for that then get something on the far end on the beach. We will be back again to try more plates off the menu.
