Pro tip for Barcelona- La Ramblas are the heartbeat of life in Barcelona. They are neighborhood streets where locals shop, socialize, dine and enjoy the outdoor culture that Barcelona offers. La Rambla del Poblenou is not the famous La Rambla in Barcelona which everyone suggests you visit. It is fine but chaotic and super crowded. Each neighborhood has its own La Rambla which reflects the culture and flavor of its residents nationalities. La Rambla del Poblenou is adjacent to our favorite hotel and gives a vivid view of local life in Barcelona. Strolling down La Rambla del Poblenou you can purchase fresh bread at bakeries, pastries, gelato, jamon, wine and anything else you desire. Outdoor seating overflows from local restaurants. No one is rushing. Highly recommend after a busy day of seeing the sights to reflect on the beauty that is Barcelona. read more
