    Gorditas of Asada and Adobada

Driving into Sioux Center to watch softball game and wanted to grab something to eat before the game. Wow great delicious food. Asada had lots of flavor and tender. Rice and beans were also delicious. Customer service was fast and polite. Definitely recommend this place.

Who could expect to find such a tasty, affordable and friendly Mexican restaurant in Iowa! Let alone a town the size of Sioux Center. Menus are written on the side of the kitchen truck: Tacos, burritos, quesadillas, gorditas and more, with pork, chicken, beef, chorizo, and some more interesting options like tongue and pork skin! Very affordable, flavorsome, quick, and delivered with love and smiles to the indoor dining space. With hot sauces that seem to be home made, I wish I was a local so I could make this place part of my life!

Combination Fajitas from La Rancherita in Sioux Center IA. Excellent Food!

Excellent Food!! Unusual setup and location is off beaten path. Unless you followed a map you probably won't notice this place. We had fajitas, shrimp cocktail and quesadilla. All were very tasty! If this lady could get into mainstay location she would really be turning tables.

Pretty much the best in the area. For a small town in Iowa, this is the most authentic I've come across. I'm here weekly.

I'm excited to give El Chamoyito a well-earned 5 stars in it's first review! Right here in…read moreNorthwest Iowa, this little to-go spot is something truly special, offering a burst of fun and truly unique flavors that you'd be hard-pressed to find anywhere else around here. The folks running El Chamoyito are very friendly and welcoming, making each visit a pleasure. They offer a range of unusual treats and flavors that bring a taste of Mexican street food to our area, and it's all made fresh right when you order. Because it's made fresh expect be handed a buzzer for when it's done and be prepared to wait the appropriate amount of time for a two person kitchen. From the delicious Chamoyada Loca to the crispy Chicharrones and even the sweet crepes and pancakes, everything is spot on. They've got really fun and wild combinations like Hot Cheetos with Cheese and Tostito/Dorito Elote that just knock it out of the park flavor-wise. Tonight I had Maruchan Loca (#6) which is Maruchan Ramen topped with Doritos, corn kernels, nacho cheese, sour cream, and Jalapeño. Esquites (#4) Street Style Mexican Corn Kernel, Mayonnaise, Cotija Cheese, Tajin, Hot Sauce, served in a cup. And a Mangolada which was a mango slushie with fresh mango, tamarind, gummy worms, and I don't know what. It was just a perfect drink to match the vibe of the this place. El Chamoyito is a new true treasure, a new hot spot in town that's mixing things up and delivering great eats with a side of genuine hospitality. Definitely check it out if you're in the mood for something different and delicious--each bite is a fresh adventure! You won't be disappointed.
