Also, we watched one of the male workers rub another female worker's back with gloves on. He then proceeded to make a bagel with the SAME gloves! GROSS! Very unsanitary and unprofessional. This is definitely a local's favorite, but if you're visiting, you need to stop by and see why. Also, I LOVE the shops on either side of this coffee shop as well. Sioux City Gifts has obviously fabulous gifts and Sioux City specific items, but on the other side is the most adorable flower/plant shop you will find.

The small-batch Lantern Coffee was very nice. It was dark and rich and with a smooth aftertaste. Maybe next time I'll drive over to Sibley (home of the Generals) and try out their restaurant and coffee bar as well. And judging by the Facebook pictures, it looks live a very handsome and inviting place. They did a good job refurbishing this older building and it looks like a place that I would hang out frequently if I lived here.
