It gave me a 20,000 leagues under the sea kinda vibe, low red under tones but not too dark, you can tell it's a bar/restaurant. Also excellent music, our waiter put on an Amy Winehouse playlist. Our favourites include the shrimp, which was a tad spicy and the mushrooms with onion. The burger was quite interesting with duck meat and foie gras served between potato galettes. It was, however, slightly greasy and the duck was a little tough. The wine selection was also good and the cocktails were nice and strong. Definitely a memorable, satisfactory meal.

Not only is the wine great, but the people who work there are incredibly friendly. We actually came to this place a few times during our 4 day stay in Aix.One of the days we were fortunate enough to meet the owner and have a glass of wine with him. He's extremely friendly and really knows his wine. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. My husband and I fell in love with Aix and I think this little place was a large portion of the reason why. Who knows, maybe one day we will own a little apartment in Aix so that we can come to Au P'tit Quart D'Heure on a daily basis :) Whatever you do, dont leave Aix without coming here and having a glass of rose.
