Staff was very nice and friendly, let us take our time to choose. Prices more than fair. Liked it so much that we went back before heading home to get some more mini-cakes and cookies.

Snails, cheese, wine and a lot more is on offer here. And the quality is very high. And for a very fair price. Staff/owner very nice, very helpful and let you take your time. The shop takes their hygiene rules during Covid-19 very serious. A good thing. Bought some fresh ham, of course some Iberico Jamon, some blue cheese and some snacks to go with. Also a bottle of Red. Very good stuff. Steaks looked nice as well, but didn't find time to prepare one this time around.

I went to Frespan to buy a loaf of bread, in order to make bocadillo sandwiches for one of our days at the beach. True to form, I not only left the shop with a loaf of bread, but with magdalenas (very similar to American muffins, but less sweet) to have with our coffee. The bread was perfect and fresh for the bocadillos - the exterior of the bread was hard, but extremely fluffy and light in the center. And the magdalenas were some of the best I've had! They were very lemony and zesty, but moist and buttery. The women who work at the bakeries are never all that friendly, but this particular woman at Frespan was overly pleasant...and even smiled (I feel like that never happens at a panaderia).

Inside it's a bit on the dark side, a bit dated in some parts. But the shopping itself was good. Had all we needed. Water, milk, soda, beer, wine, veggies, fruit, fresh meat and fish/seafood and some household products. Prices good as usual for Mercadona. As always a good option to stock up on your basic grocery items.

Get some meat cuts and cheese at the fresh counter. Good quality products for low prices. A great selection of chutneys (perfect to go with manchego cheese) for just 1 Euro a glass as well. Fish, mussels, razor clams, scallops etc. Nice and fresh. This shop here offers really much more than it seems at first glance. Friendly staff as well. You can tell - by the selection and the prices - that this shop doesn't aim for tourists. It's for the local folks. And that's a great thing. Loved shopping here.

It's a smaller place, but offers some great items. Bought some fresh bread, a cream-filled pastry and a bunch of small cakes/desserts. You really can tell it's freshly made and homemade. Ingredients of good quality and nicely presented. Every piece was delicious. A great little place to shop some bread and sweets. And pretty low priced as well.
